The stylist I'm going to now is Emma and she is AHHHHMAZING. For reference (as I write this), I'm 17 weeks postpartum and officially in the hair shedding phase/just needing a bit of a glow up. Rather than chopping my hair off (which is a bit past my shoulders), I had Emma install 20 inch hand tied hair extensions on me. Her installation process was smooth, she matched my hair to the extensions perfectly, and she gave me an extremely good blend. I've been coming to Emma probably for about 7-9 months now and she's always knowledgeable, kind, and professional. I feel like conversation flows effortlessly with her and from the first time I met her, it felt like I was talking to a FRIEND. Yes, a student cut my hair, but the owner of the salon was there to ensure I got a great haircut. She made sure the stylist was using the right kind of products for my hair, checking to make sure everything was even, gave advice on what would fit my face well. The stylist and the owner were fun and professional and just took really great care of me. I could tell they really love and take pride in the work they do, and they want to do it really well. I'm sold on this place and will be regularly coming back. The service and final product have turned me from "I hate how much I have to pay, it's not worth it, I don't Care what my hair looks like" to "I can't wait to spend my money here and do it again".
