I needed several gallons and a bit of guidance with best product for a big project for me. (Grey Owl and Chantilly Lace) 1. Still no in store shopping. 2. Useless person answering the knock. 3. Instant frustration at the lack of hospitality and service. 4. One word answers and no help or offer of grabbing any kind of samples. 5. Told the next person in line that appointments could be booked. So I asked if I could book one. Simply said no, none available. 6. I got so frustrated with the lack of assistance, etc that I just said forget it and called Sherwin Williams on Clair rd Guelph where I was welcomed, helped, guided and supplied with my gallons of paint within 15 mins of arrival. They even helped me carry my load to the car. They matched the basic colours I was wanting to start with as well. Thumbs down to Heers Decorating, you've had very poor service for a couple of years now and you're still not improving.

We found Neil and his staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Using our samples of flooring, cabinetry and countertops, they led us through the process of selecting wall and trim colours in the finishes that would best work for our project. The results are stunning! We have returned many times to Heers since our initial visit as our renovation project continues. We are happy to have been directed to Heers and will continue to patronize them in the future.

So, I was talking with a neighbour who uses a Fuji spray system and based on the ease of set up and the excellent results I decided to check them out. I came across The Paint People and found the unit I was looking for (Mini-Mite 4 PLATINUM™ Model with GXPC Side Mount Gravity Feed) and they were several hundred dollars cheaper than any other providers. In addition they had all five of the additional items that I needed all in one place - excellent! As I am way out-of-town I was concerned about support. However, they answered all of my questions and concerns in a very professional manner. The website was easy to navigate and placing an order was a breeze. Everything arrived in excellent shape and on time as they promised. The team was quick to follow up after the order was processed in the event that I had any questions. These guys are the best!

I'm thinking of doing some house painting, so I just stopped by to pick up some paint chips. (I've already done this previously at Home Depot and it's just a different environment.) This place is set-up like a design centre and you can basically pick up all the nuts 'n bolts that you'd need to do some painting. I've heard good things about Benjamin Moore and YES, it's more expensive than Behr. However, according to the stuff that I've read, it's thicker, so you don't need as much paint. A small tester (1 pint) can was $10. Fellow there was helpful and answered all my questions. I'll update if I decide to go the BM route!
