I brought my Cadillac CT5 to Colorwerks to have my wheels powder coated gold. They did a fantastic job and the painter did an even more amazing job in painting the center caps. They were very helpful in helping me choose the right color, never pressuring me into choosing a color or shade of gold. They had to keep the car an extra day because my color choice required a clear coat. I'm very happy with the results and have gotten lots of compliments on the wheels. Of course you get the few that don't like the color or make stupid comments. To them, I say it's my car, and I'll do whatever I want. So, if you want to change up the color of your wheels, go check these guys out. They have thousands of colors to choose from. Make your car unique and have fun. I just had the rims for my 2024 Genesis GV 70 powder coated. Don't waste your time calling around, trying to find a better price. If you do find one, I doubt you get the same quality or full service. They are fully equipped to handle your vehicle with care and expertise. They did a thorough inspection on the exterior body condition before bringing into the bay to make sure there were no scratches or dents. They have vehicle lifts to raise your car and pull all the tires off for the service. This means your vehicle stays up in the air safely away from anyone that might accidentally scratch the paint or damage your vehicle walking by striking it by accident. The powder coat came out very nice. I saw someone taking the extra time to clean my white calipers before they put the rims back on. That extra care and attention detail resonated with my being! I want to give these guys 5 stars because I really like them and the quality and speed of the job was fine. I am unable to give them 5 stars because of another reason. After taking my parts to them for an estimate ($400 quoted) I was told the parts needed to be sandblasted first, and they recommended a blaster. I went there and dropped the parts off. The next day I went to pick them up and the sandblasting owner asked me if I would mind delivering an additional part back to ColorWerks (one of their other jobs or maybe a part for their shop, which needed a truck due to its size), that he had spoken to them about me delivering it, and that they would "take care of me" for doing so. I was going anyway and when I dropped their part off with my parts I was told I would get a discount for helping them and the blaster out. A couple days later I went to pick up my job and was charged the full amount. No discount was applied for my favor. Not the biggest deal, but not the integrity I was expecting. read more

Just had the stock rims on my new Raptor powder coated by these guys. They did an AWESOME job. Wheels look great and I was in an out in one day without having to take the wheels off like you do with other places. Plus powder coating was much cheaper than a new set of quality (emphasis on "quality") wheels. Obviously you could buy cheap china made wheels for less (you get what you pay for) but if you want to stay with the quality of the oem wheels without the cost of forged wheels, this is a great option. I was referred to Colorwerks by a friend and let me tell you, these guys are unreal. I dropped my car off at 9a this morning and picked it up tonight. The wheels were done perfectly. I have a had a few other wheel sets powdercoated and these guys make it incredibly easy. Most places make you take the wheels off the car and unmount the tires and still take "5-7 business days." There's not much to say other than ColorWerks is absolutely outstanding. I saw that they had excellent reviews all across the board. The work they did on my renegade rims was flawless. I dropped it off the night before and put my keys in the drop box. It took them all day because my wheels took unusually long to strip but it was well work it. Troy was the guy who worked on my car and called me throughout the day to update me. Full five stars!! I brought my car in to get the rims powder coated. Damien fit me in to a very favorable time slot and set pricing and turnaround time expectations up front. I dropped my car off with Bryant and he explained the process and let me know that my car would be pulled into the garage overnight (a huge relief). My car was turned around the next day and when I arrived to pick it up, it almost looked like a different car. It was really that great of a job. It did take a little longer than initially quoted, but check this out...when the first batch of powder arrived for my wheels, they decided it didn't quite look right and so rather than saying "screw it" and shooting them with potentially flawed material (as most lazy shops would have no problem doing), they reached out to their supplier and had another batch overnighted. Took them a push bar for powder coating. Was told it would be 2-3 weeks for sandblasting and powder coating. At week 2 called for status and was told it was still at the sandblasters. At week 3 called and was told that it was just back from the sandblaster and would be powder coated in the next week. Week 4 called all morning and no one would pick up the phone. Finally got a hold of someone in the afternoon and was told that it had just got back from the sandblaster, that they would powder coat it and have it ready by noon the next day. Noon the next day, went to pick up was not ready. Decided that I had enough and left with my unfinished part. You decide if this sounds like a professional business you would want to deal with. read more

I wanted to give them zero stars. I took in a N.O.S. (New Old Stock) pot metal speaker grille for my 1965 Corvette. Not only was the job poorly done they totally destroyed the piece. Warped the piece beyond usability and I have had to purchase a new one for $107.98. Problem was they did not adequately prepare the unit before powder coating. I don't know if they were lazy or what but they totally dropped the ball. (at 64 years old and in the business for 40 years I can tell you 90% of the job is in the preparation). They then compounded their mistake by sanding (which did not correct the original problem of contaminants) then re-coated and re-heated (where the warping came from). Further, they chewed up the front edge of the grille. Did I mention this was for my 1965 Corvette which I have had since I was 20? To top it off, it took two weeks and they charged me $60.00. I guess if you are doing rims or If you have parts that you don't care about they might be OK. Definitely not ready for Prime Time or doing Show Quality work. Should have told me they did not have the experience necessary to take on such delicate work. read more
