Can I give it no stars? Started off with them with my appt not being actually on the date they said it was. They blamed the receptionist. Made a new appt and it wasn't great. Kept trying to get treatments approved with my insurance and realized they were submitting for the wrong things. When my insurance asked for a peer to peer review I was called and said they don't do that. read more

Office staff is a joke. Never have been able to talk with a human. Left message after message. No return calls. Had a zoom appointment with Dr Johnson. Never happened. Took time off of work and he never connected. Called and left 4 messages. Nobody ever returned the calls. Makes me wonder if they billed Medicaid for the visit. I'll be researching that!! Worst doctor practice I've ever had to deal with in my life. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!!!! read more

This place is a total joke! I was referred here by Littleton Adventist. I went in for my initial appt Jan 4. At the end of the appt I was told I would be scheduled for a MRI and someone would reach out to me. It's now been 12 days and nothing. No word. I've called the office multiple times and no one ever answers. I've sent emails, no response. I've left VMs for the receptionist and nothing. The doctors medical assistant Candy's VM is full everyday. How can anyone expect care from a place like this?! RUN! They don't give a crap! I'll go somewhere else! read more

My wife had appointment here and drove from out of state (Kansas City) to get to appointment today and they had cancelled the appointed yesterday and DID NOT tell my wife and we showed up to this place today and was told by receptionist that it was cancelled and she had a very cold attitude and had not one bit of empathy to my wife's situation she could care less of how they put us out They knew we were coming from out of state! Such a horrible experience at this office!! Very rude!! They only reason I kept my cool and did not go off on this lady is because I had my small child with me! When my wife can't even reach a live person to ask why she can't refill her ESSENTIAL medication, you know something is bad. My wife loved this location when she found a certain dr. Now that he is gone it all went downhill from there! There is absolutely no communication from anyone and again its impossible to reach them for urgent matters. It's especially SCARY when my wife needs an essential medication, and the Dr denies it. Even though she's been an establishment patient for years and found something that works! We will be finding a new Dr ASAP so we don't have to be scared or wonder if she will be able to get her medication or ask a question and get a response in a reasonable time frame. read more

ZERO STARS. Colorado neuro diagnostics has by far the absolute worst staff I've ever encountered. I made an appointment 6 months ago, drove 50 minutes to my appointment, only for the billing lady to tell me they completely botched my transition (which they had 6 months to complete) and that my appointment was canceled. I called 8 times before that appointment and got zero answers or call backs. If you value your health and time, please go somewhere else. Also, I called my insurance and they told me that nerve service was pre approved a month ago. Incompetence doesn't start to describe the billing/admin team at Colorado neuro diagnostics. read more

This is literally the worst place to work with. You can never get ahold of anyone what so ever. They also mess up with scheduling appointments, I showed up at the time they scheduled me for and was told I was "late" and had to get it rescheduled to the end of August. I sat there and waited til someone gave me the next opened slot that wasn't the end of August. While waiting for their mess up the lady with the purple hair will talk ill about someone trying to get help behind her little window. On top of this I was told to bring in disability paper work for them to sign, because I was TOLD by Alyssa to do so. Then to be told I don't need it by another staff member who isn't willing to help what so ever. It's the only way I can go back to work paperwork or letter telling them I don't need it. I've left plenty of emails and voice messages and still they will not contact me back. I had an MRI scan as well which was supposed to be viewed and scheduled for the first week of August. I have yet to be in contact with anyone what so ever. Also forget trying to schedule your own appointment they will not answer. If you're looking for a neurology place this place isn't it. The Doctors in the hospital did a wonderful job but their staff is out right terrible. read more

My husband fell and required neuro ICU level of care. He was in a deep coma for 3-4 weeks but doctors Alexander and Koontz never gave up and encouraged me to allow his brain to heal. He was just discharged from Encompass to home fully recovered! I can't say enough about their care and medical expertise. read more

I wish I didn't even have to give 1 star for this "neurologist". Stay far, far away from Julie Siebert. I don't think I've ever come across such an unprofessional medical provider in my life. Her MA Brittany is just as bad. I was suffering from sudden onset migraines for a month, and Julie (she doesn't deserve the Dr. title) literally laughed in my face twice and told me it was no big deal and the only way to solve it was with drugs and was extremely dismissive. They couldn't even figure out how to take my blood pressure and told me to go to the pharmacy to do it. I asked for an MRI anyway, and it's been a week and a half, and the MA still hasn't ordered it. I had a severe allergic reaction to the drug she prescribed, and I left several messages for Julie, all of which went ignored. I did manage to speak to the MA after calling numerous times, and she dismissed me as well and said there was nothing she could do about it. I have zero respect for this so-called neurologist or the people who work for her. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Alexander's for nearly 16 years and couldn't have found a more knowledgeable, compassionate neurologist in the state of Colorado. I've had exposure to the other doctors within the practice and everyone is professional, and at the top of their game. If I need to make an appointment, if the front desk is busy with another patient, I've always received a timely call back to schedule my appointment. I highly recommend this practice! read more

My experience was very poor. The front desk was great in accommodating the scheduling process and setting basic expectations. I had a testing procedure schedule for the end of the day with Dr. Koontz. I had prepared some notes to share as what led me to this specialty and testing procedure. was a long road. I also completed the typical patient history intake paperwork in order to support an efficient in take and evaluation experience. The Dr. made it abundantly clear that I was only there for his test, not a consult, and wasn't interested in the least in any information I had. I even questioned the order as it was not representative of the plan I had discussed with my referring Dr. I was so grateful to have Dr. Koontz there so he could continuously remind me I was annoying him, not engage in any meaningful dialogue, and read back the order details as a defense to not actually consulting the patient who was sitting right in front of him. So now I will have to get back in queue for 30-60 days when my Dr says what the hell is this narrow test result ? Why go to school for 10-15 yrs to sell diagnostic tests like a robot? The cheapness and horrible bedside manner was not something I expected from such a prestigious specialty. What a joke the healthcare industry has become. I am a patient looking for help, I made that very clear in a very polite and prepared manner. The diagnostic process for me remains unresolved and I have only really learned one thing. This practice won't be part of the solution. read more

The front desk staff was absolutely awful, not friendly or helpful. Does not greet you when you get there. When making an appointment they don't answer the phone, you have to leave a message and wait for someone to call back. I saw 2 different providers in the practice and both of them treated me like I was making up all of my symptoms and that I was a bother to them. They talked to me like I was stupid and when I asked questions they would look at me like I was a waste of their time. After an MRI showed a problem in my neck they again acted completely unconcerned even though there was clearly something wrong. They proceeded to tell me that the problem in my neck couldn't be causing my symptoms and that there was no neurological explanation for my symptoms. Instead of referring me to someone else or at least giving some explanation they dismissed me and said if I wanted to I could get a surgical referral. Please do not go to this practice. I have wasted several weeks of my time and I have been in pain the entire time with out an answers to any of it except to take Tylenol. read more

Takes forever to get an appointment, 1 to 1 1/2 months. Can be waiting over an hour to be taken back. Several times, it's been between 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Phone calls are NOT returned by the lone medical assistant. You have to call back multiple times, complain about the lack of not receiving any help to have anything done. Don't bother faxing anything because apparently, the medical assistant cannot read either. You have to call and speak with the front office to verbally give instructions to the MA on faxes. The MA doesn't read charts either (see above). Items you call or fax about that should be easily read in your charts, will be ignored. This includes important things such as allergies and medications and simple instructions on forms. Don't bother calling and leaving a message if your in pain, frantic, or have a hearing aid amplifier. The MA will assume you're screaming and not return your call. Dr. Alexander knows her stuff. Too bad her staff is horrible. Don't bother and find someone else. read more

Dr. Alexander has always been wonderful, she has met all my needs with my pain management, Migraines and chronic neck pain. She is very patient and takes her time to understand you on a personal level. Her clients mean so much to her and I think it helps that she is personable. She helped me get where I need to be for pain relief. She is great at what she does!!! read more

Waited over 2 months Dr Julie Siebert's office to finally send my disability paperwork. Would not return my calls, disability representative or UHC calls. Drove to Office and requested my "Office visit notes" and there were statements in there I never made. 2nd visit notes were almost a "cut and paste" of first visit with an extra line or 2 of text added. Issues we discussed at length were not included in notes. Dr Siebert has likely caused me to lose my Long Term Disability claim and because she has not responded to my insurance companies request for "more information" as to why I need this medication I am no longer able to get my migraine medication. The fact she omitted the word "Migraine" from my office visit notes could have a lot to do with me being denied my medication. She prescribed migraine medication (Injectable) as well as migraine pills but office visit notes simply states headaches? Huge difference between a migraine and a headache! Called them yesterday but not hopeful for a response any time soon. Pretty sure she would not prescribe such strong meds for a mere headache...Covid has done a number on a lot of Drs Offices, I get that , but this is my life and quality of life as well as my livelihood we are talking about. read more

I saw Dr. Koontz after having some facial nerve issues following an episode of Bells Palsy. I had to reschedule my appointment a few times due to work and the receptionist was very helpful and accommodating. Dr. Koontz was very knowledgeable, professional, a great listener and what I appreciated the most was his honesty. I was scheduled an MRI that next day and discussed my results with Dr. Koontz later that week. I couldn't be happier with my experience here and would recommend them to any family member or friend. read more

I visited Colorado Neurodiagnostics after having a seizure in Sept. of 2016. I met with Dr. Seibert who recommended an EEG. Dr. Seibert was an available to read the results so she had Dr. Elgavish, her associate review the results. The thing they failed to mention was that Dr. Elgavish was not covered in network by Aetna. I never met Dr. Elgavish, or spoke to him after the EEG. He had his assistant contact me to let me know that the results of the EEG were fine. A few months later I received a bill for $650 from Code One Billing for the "visit" with the out of network Dr. Elgavish. I have been back and forth with Code One billing, Aetna, and CO Neurodiagnostics and they will not budge telling me I am responsible for the $650 out of network deductable for seeing a doctor I never met, or spoke directly to. The best part is that I had another seizure 6 months later and was diagnosed with epilepsy, the same thing Dr. Elgavish told me I was clear of 6 month previous. This practice is underhanded, difficult to deal with, and obviously not top of their class when it comes to diagnosing its patients. Based on the rest of the negative feedback posted on Yelp, if you are unlucky enough to have an issue that requires you to see a neurologist, you are better off going somewhere else. read more

I'm a chronic migraine patient, and after having to leave a doctor I loved in San Diego I have a pretty high standard of care I expect from someone who is treating my brain. I chose this practice because my previous neurologist here in Denver is exclusively a headache doctor and I had been experiencing some new symptoms I wanted to dig a little deeper into. Their website says they treat an array of neurologic disorders, so I had high hopes of getting my symptoms taken seriously here. Anyway, I experienced all of the same awful things that the other reviewers did here. I am unable to reach anyone on the phone, to schedule or cancel normal appointments or anything else. Once I had left an urgent message regarding new concerning symptoms with my doctor's MA and NEVER received a call back. When I followed up with this doctor she made me feel ridiculous for even calling in the first place, brushed off my concerns and symptoms, actually rolled her eyes at me, and I literally left in tears for feeling humiliated. So I guess if you are looking for a doctor to ignore and humiliate you, then sure, choose this practice. Otherwise I advise going elsewhere. read more

Not a fan of the staff so far. Two days before Christmas and my script was never sent in. I called and no answer so I drove there and they copped and attitude about the pharmacy probably lost it. I told them I've never had a pharmacy lose a script before and she said it happens to them all the time! My experience reflects most of these poor reviews and for the same reasons. The front desk was kind and professional, getting an appointment is an easy process once you finally get ahold of somebody. Do not expect a call back if you leave a message, and do not expect to be able to speak with a doctor at any time. I have had multiple neurological symptoms stemming from time in the military, and have symptoms that don't always fall under the neurological umbrella but are very much neurological. My blood pressure and SPO2/ blood oxygen levels change and often can be different on both sides. This medical assistant took the numbers that looked the most normal recorded them while completely ignoring the fact that on one side the readings were high. I believe this place does help if you have a cut and dry situation that can be fixed with a test or a pill. If you have a complex issue or a chronic illness they will still willingly set up an appointment and bill you, just don't expect much else. read more

The best neurologists in the Denver Metro area. Staff is extremely friendly and they will go above and beyond for their patients! I have seen 2 doctors at this practice and they were awesome! I will never go anywhere else. Yes, sometime there is a long wait to be seen, but they are worth the wait!
