The addition of the MakeReady team has been a fantastic evolution - their energy and attention to detail really show in everything they're doing. The events lately have been especially standout - thoughtfully curated, well-executed, and genuinely fun to be a part of. What really makes this place special, though, are the people. Matt, Cara, AB, Charlie, Joe, Nick, AJ, Fran, Therissa, Kat, and honestly the entire team, go out of their way to create an environment that feels warm, welcoming, and personal. It truly feels like a home away from home. It's a perfect location, the rooms are lovely and comfortable, and I love having friends stay there because I know they'll have a great experience from start to finish. If you're considering joining, I can't recommend it enough. It's more than just a membership, a place to work, events to enjoy, it's a community.

During check-in they said I received an upgrade, but I'm not sure to what, because the view was a roof and the room couldn't fit one suitcase, never mind two. It was cute however. Blackout shades are irrelevant if they don't cover they can't cover the entire window. Slivers of light will wake you up, which is surprising since when you pull back the drapes, the room lacked natural light. If you stay with Amex Platinum hotel collection and receive benefits, you might be disappointed. It says complimentary breakfast, which at check-in you learn is $30 a day. This might be ok except lattes are $7 and there's a 20% gratuity included on all bills. The $100 resort credit can only be used at their rooftop bar and their "member's" restaurant (not the two on-site restaurants on the ground floor) and in-room mini bar, however half the items were expired. The gym in the basement is solid and better equipped than most, but wish there was natural light. Pool table in lobby is nice touch. Housekeeping knocked on door and we asked she come back in an hour. We were disappointed upon returning home to our unrefreshed room. The realized she did come because we had new towels. I know many hotels limit housekeeping services, which I'm fine with, if they state it. Location: A Value: D Service: B- Amenities: C

First of all: 1) it ain't free, expect to invest in your social life. Lets all be honest though, you get what you pay for on Tinder. 2) It ain't easy. You actually have to show up, talk to people, make conversation, get involved. If you do so this club will pay you back in spades. I joined back in January and its been terrific! My social life has moved into high gear, I've been able to develop a multi-level social circles including business contacts, casual acquaintances, couple friends and YES a steady girlfriend. I work hard during he day and it's really difficult to plan things after work and to stay connected to a dynamic social life. With E&A I can spend 10 min and plan out my whole week, or drop in on an event if plans change and I suddenly have a free evening. I'm doing things I never would have either and getting to know Denver better than ever before (and I'm a native). I asked her for a rough idea of pricing. The tone of condescension was strong, how dare I ask basic upfront questions that could be on the website. She still refused to give pricing of course. Tetris League meets once a month in the back rooms of Forest Room 5. It cost $5 to enter the double elimination tournament and it's worth every penny. Two screens are set up so there are 4 people playing at once until you get down to the finals. Some sort of crazy program generates the playing brackets. The tensions run high whether you're playing or not. You're tense when you are playing because you only have 3 minutes to get the most lines. You're tense when you aren't playing because you're sure that you could place these pieces much better and Crap! why didn't you get them when it was your turn? The game begins at 8 pm on the last Wednesday of every month usually, but check the web site for the next game as this occasionally changes. And don't forget, the long red pieces are called dongers. You don't want to look like an amateur when you show up.

We had no idea what to expect. I called the night before to be sure we did not need to make a reservation and talked to Martha who was warm and welcoming - she said come on down! We arrived at 5PM and were greeted by a lovely young lady - 94 years old and teaching 2 exercise classes there a week. We gave her our money and got a ticket to turn into the cook. We went into the community room and there were 4 round and 1 large rectangular tables covered in multicolored table cloths and gold vases with brightly colored plastic flowers. The tables were set with cutlery and place mats and some "Golden Oldies" playing in the background. It was open seating and the 4 of us met quite the characters! Lily was celebrating her 81st birthday and was full of energy - joking with everyone and greeting you like an old friend. What struck me was everyone was laughing and enjoying some good, old-fashioned conversation. The meal was a thicker spaghetti noodle, a good side of salad and a slice of watermelon. In addition, strawberry shortcake - served by Lily - for dessert - a deal at 5 bucks! Wine was extra for a donation to the center - they were serving a red Yellowtail. The dinners are served the 3rd Thursday of every month - next up? Pizza night! You can count on us being there again to mingle with the generations and have a good laugh. Other services they offer: Senior Programs, Preschool and other Kid's Programs, Wellness Clinic, Yoga, Zumba and Tae Kwon Do classes. Something for everyone!

The instructor Karin introduced us to the Art Students League of Denver, the offerings, and some history. We went around the room and discussed everyone's level of experience and interests. She really listened and worked to tailor our experience based on our responses. Each seat was set up with the materials we needed and we started off with introductory stitches. After an hour we focused on our Art piece and near the end of class picked up remaining supplies to finish our work at home. 10 mins before leaving we all did stretching exercises and cleaned up the room. I'd recommend attending if others are interested in learning something new or expanding their skill set.

For us,…read moreit was one of the "Jazz Room" series: A joinery to the heart of New Orleans and we absolutely had nothing negative things to say about it as the experience last night was fantastic. It was a show with seats. Our tickets were in zone A where we were able to sit pretty much right in front of the stage/band. Wow! The staff upfront who scanned our tickets were welcoming and one of them took us to our section. She also showed us where the main bar and the restrooms etc. were m. Very organized and courteous system to say the least. The bar area was also organized, very clean and quite spacious. The lady who assisted us (for a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon; it was a very decent Cab!!) had a warm smile. She welcomed us. Very polite indeed. The show started right on time at 8pm. The 5 talented musicians entertained us occasionally incorporating talks with funny elements. They also encouraged us to be part of the songs; we thus sang along with them. The kind of crowd we had was my age range (mostly in their early to late 50's or a bit older in their 60's. My 25-yr old daughter was definitely one of the youngest people in the audience. Everyone was courteous to others; very laid back atmosphere indeed.) The show was only 1 hour with no encore (so you'll be out the door by 9:10pm unless you linger.) That was the only bummer thing about it but other than that, it was a night of magical vibes where we felt like slipping into the old jazz era of 1920's. It's funny. After living in the greater Denver area for 28 years, it was my very first visit to this venue. Despite the very low ratings of only 2.5 stars as of late January 2026, my first impression for this one of the iconic places is near 5-star rating. I can't wait to attend more shows at this place in the future.

What your JOB IS to make sure there aren't 1) weapons or 2) drugs meant for **distribution** (i.e., large quantities). That is it, dummys. The god complex is very pathetic to experience. Leave people with their personal meds alone and don't touch private parts. This is one spot where they are taking their positions WAY too far and beyond and it ain't that serious. The venue itself is fun and has quite a few different rooms to hang out in. The main floor has SO many people PARKING ON THE DANCE FLOOR which is sooooo anoyyyiinggg. It's like these kids just wanna be or say they're "at the club" but they don't actually even "club". Go to the back and stand. Don't stand right in front of the damn DJ. They do have lots of popular DJs here and often more the type of music I'm personally into. The real popular ones, though, are so high up all you can see is a shadow of a person--amazing, lol. If you have the luxury of a car, leave anything remotely questionable in there. I don't ever drive here so I have to try and think hard before leaving my home since I can't even bring Aleve or Benadryl without them causing an issue (which is something I have literally never once before in my entire life going anywhere EVER have had to think about). When you get your door staff's crap together, maybe there will be another update.
