I inadvertently left my laundry room sink running and it overflowed. As a result, my laundry room, living room and basement, including a bathroom were water damaged. I called Deep Water Mitigation, which was my first mistake, and they recommended Mr. Eddie Fagan, my second mistake. He told me that he required $15,000 up front before any work began because he was a small company. Fagan recognized that I was worried and desperate to have the damage repaired as soon as possible, so I paid immediately without question. The water damage was extensive. During the removal of the vanity and countertop Deep Water damaged them. Fagan did not divulge that they were damaged by Deep Water and the replacement cost should not have been included in his estimate to the insurance company. Mr. Fagan's contract is only in his favour, and entirely in legalize thus protecting him from all liability, not even mentioning customer satisfaction or workmanship guarantee. His crew were totally incapable of performing their tasks well. My carpeting was well above mid-grade. We were referred to Carpet Connection and shown "comparable" samples of carpeting. It was actually builder's grade. We were tragically deceived by all parties involved.
