I had a death in my family and when I called to reschedule…read morethe morning before my afternoon appointment, he did not stop to find out why and started yelling, telling me that he wanted my credit card because he demanded payment for the hour that I was supposed to be there. He is a good stylist and Debbie is really good with color, but Duane gets angry too easy and does not think before he judges and God forbid, says things he cannot take back. Also they push their special products and make you feel horrible if you do not buy what they are pushing. On top of that, they did not have what I needed in stock and they sold me a product that was not the strength that I need it for my hair type. In other words. I feel like they would do anything just to make a sale. When I expressed my opinion that the product did not get good reviews, Debbie got defensive. Two years ago Duane told me that I did not have enough money to come to them and then later on he thought about it and he apologized. But now we go through the same thing again only this time I don't think he's going to mend his ways. If you can handle his high strung temperament this place might be just fine for you.

She proceeded to tell me that she had been doing hair for 12 years, and loved to do blondes. I honestly never thought twice about it because I'm the least picky person EVER! I literally just wanted my same color touched up. Once she finished, she half dried my hair and had me leave the salon after I had told her twice that it was orange. She told me that it was just because it "wasn't all the way dry." (Mind you- she wouldn't even finish drying it because she knew it was a huge mess.) After having me leave with wet hair, I got home and legitimately had a meltdown at the mess of a service that I received. I sent my usual hair stylist a message with the picture. She immediately told me to meet her at her salon this morning. She worked on my hair for 6 HOURS, and she ended up with the picture on the right. I'm so thankful that she spent the day fixing the mess that I was given at Beauty Bar yesterday. I searched the stylist, and come to find out, she received her license in MAY After telling me that she had been doing hair for 12 years "specializing in blondes" I reached out to the stylist again and told her that I wasn't happy, and she proceeded to tell me that she accidentally left a few foils off and to come in and she would "add a foil or two to touch it up." She also advised me to put purple shampoo in my hair and leave it for 20 minutes and that would fix it. I also reached out to the owner with pictures and an explanation and she ignored me. I literally never complain about my hair, and am NOT picky but this was AWFUL! I paid $150 dollars for the left, and then had to go pay for a 6 hour color correction today from another stylist. They apparently "don't do refunds" if you don't want hair that looks like the picture on the left, avoid this place!
