This winter, I got a wild hair (literally) and decided to add some blue to the ends of my hair…read more Having never dyed my hair before, and being super protective of who cuts/touches my hair, I was a little nervous. David took every single one of my worries away. He did an INCREDIBLE job and I've gotten so many compliments on my hair. The colours are beautiful and he cut my hair exactly how I like it to be cut. Not only that, but the dye was really good quality and lasted much longer than it would've had I tried to dye my own. Super happy with the results and I have since gone back to get touched up. Highly recommend David for any of your hair needs!

I'm originally from Bloomsburg, live in DC, and was in town visiting my mom at Geisinger while she…read morewas recovering from surgery. While she napped, I decided to get some errands done. I have had various hairdressers in DC, but people have moved, so I am not necessarily loyal to anyone in particular at the moment. Until now! Jessica was delightful. We graduated from rival high schools at around the same time, so it was lovely talking to her about our different experiences. I walked in at an off time (mid afternoon on a Thursday). She gave me a great wash and cut, and was in and out in When possible, I will definitely try to schedule cuts with her when I'm visiting home in the future. I was in and out in maybe 30 minutes. And obviously, the prices are great too! I had not gotten a cut in over a year (partly busy, partly lazy - didn't want to deal with finding a new dresser and spending a lot of money on a cut I may not like, partly nervous about getting judged by a bougie stylist for going so long without a cut, partly didn't care - gross DC swamp summer temperatures = top knot every day anyway). Jessica met me where I was and never once passed judgment or made me uncomfortable. I gave her minimal instructions of "shorter, still pony tail length, maybe some layers, doesn't really matter - just fix it please." And she did a great job!

Under new management!! I have gone to this salon on and off for a few years now. For anyone who…read morewrote old reviews, it is now under new management! I have enjoyed Sara and her salon services she offers. The cuts and color are good (she cuts well to curly hair too!). They moved to Mill street and Sara purchased the salon from the previous owner. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, the employees are kind, and I have enjoyed the services I have received (cut and full color by Sara, nails/pedi services). It's a small salon, so you must work with them if you want more than one person getting mani/pedi etc. there are 3 women total, 2 pedi chairs etc. but it is well worth it. Perfect small town salon with awesome people

THE WORST haircut EVER!!! Can I give a negative star rating?…read more I know my hair. I know what it needs and doesn't need. I think I'm pretty clear on conveying that to a hairdresser - at least my old hairdresser never had an issue. I've been trying to find a hair dresser closer to home. I saw the good reviews for this place on Yelp and the pictures and website looked like they paid attention to detail. I made an appointment for a cut and color with one of the stylists. My appointment was with Joselle. As I showed her pictures of the type of cut I wanted and said "A-line Bob", she barely looked at my pictures. When discussing what I wanted for color, I said I DEFINITELY DID NOT want chunky white highlights, but rather very subtle (and natural) caramel highlights, in my light brown hair. I even told her that my hair lightens REALLY fast. She did my roots, washed and dried my hair, because she didn't want to risk doing a two step process. I thought "THAT is a great idea. Get to know my hair." From what I could tell, everything was going OK. After the cut, she blow dried my hair and never used a straightening iron - which left me a frizzy mess. Did she think that looked good!? I was getting a REALLY bad feeling as I looked in the mirror and saw what she left me with. On top of the worst haircut and style, I got HORRIBLE chunky white highlights, like RACING STRIPES, on the side of my head! It was BAD! Also, as she was blow drying my hair, she kept looking out the window to see if her friend had arrived yet to go to dinner. I was the last appointment of the day, but I still should have been a priority. Some positives - my root touch-up was OK and the last handful of highlights, that didn't have time to get bright white, were nice. And the last positive - she drove me back to my old hairdresser to fix my hair. It's now worth it to me to drive 2.5 HOURS to get to her because I never want to experience this again. The website says she specializes in men's cuts. She should stick with that and not let the Salon owner schedule women's haircuts! If you still go, try another stylist.
