Awful experience! Don't leave your car here. They lost our car keys! we waited for about 55 minutes. Extremely unprofessional staff.

Don't park here! Expensive, and they shut down at 10pm. Got stuck outside and had to wait for 30 minutes to get my car. Ridiculous!

    Dupont Circle, Downtown

I've parked here at least several times a week for more than ten years. For what it is - an underground parking garage in an overpriced city - it gets 3.5 stars. I rounded up because the garage attendants are almost universally friendly, always very polite, and they were incredibly helpful when I got stranded with a bad battery (twice, thankyouverymuch). They park your car (see below), take your payment, bring your car back to you, and give you a receipt upon request. Language is sometimes (though very rarely) a barrier. Lighting is adequate. The garage sometimes fills up on weekdays, most often when either the weather is bad (and people don't want to deal with public transportation), or Metro is having a particularly bad day (and people don't want to deal with public transportation). If you have a monthly account, though, they'll always make room for you (in my experience). FWIW, you can reserve guaranteed parking at this garage in advance, using online apps like Parking Panda. * If you're a sometimes-or-one-time parker, you should know that on weekdays during normal business hours, you must let them park your car (valet), and until 11am you need to pull down the first driveway to the attendants (they aren't at the booth at the top of the ramp until after 11am). * If you're a frequent parker, you can park your own car if you set up a monthly account. (Easiest way to do that is online.) Keep in mind that they don't always have monthly accounts available. (I was working in Dupont Circle for several years before they had any available, but they seem to have more openings these days.) Happy parking!

I'm giving them an extra star because they are seriously the only option for parking in this…read moreneighborhood. Only one out of three parking spaces are accessible when the place is packed (every night), as two are partially blocked by the cement columns. The narrow aisles make it really hard to navigate into one of these spaces. At least the stairwells didn't smell like pee! That's a bonus. Didn't see an attendant, so you're on your own.

The Lincoln Memorial, at the moment, is the furthest memorial west of The National Mall (with the Desert Shield and Desert Storm Memorial, currently under construction, being adjacent to and slightly further back along Constitution Avenue. The memorial is a little over 100 years old, but you couldn't tell considering its relatively pristine condition due to use of marble and granite in its construction.
