I hired this company to do my winterization and they completely fumbled. They came out in October to do the job and in January my front pipe burst open with water. I requested they come back to fix the issue and at that time I was told it was a valve and to turn the water off and call a plumber. I ended up paying money for a plumber to come out for them to tell me that it was not a faulty valve but that in fact the company didn't turn the water off all the way which caused the build up and burst. Colonial was nothing but defensive and didn't want to take ownership. They basically told me they are a family own business and they can give whatever customer service they like. Stay far away! We asked them to come help us with re hooking up our sprinkler system (had a pool installed) . the guys came over, told us not to use our system until they come back, as it's not all connected (Bec of construction). They left our water on and a pipe burst, flooding the side of our property. Now they have completely ghosted us and won't even call us back. every time I call, the front desk lady says they'll have an estimate over soon- it's now been over a month. Don't waste you time or money.We are are actually paying another company right now to fix their mess.From customer service to very poor quality of their work I will give them zero stars all day long.They gladly took few thousands dollars from us but didn't do the work they supposed to do.We tried to communicate and solve this issue but let me tell you THEY DON'T CARE !!!!!! Can't believe these guys don't have a review! Very professional company. Recently used them again for issues with our sprinklers. Matt was out once again and so glad he was. Talk about courteous and polite and a straight shooter. The cost was below what I had anticipated too! I have a guy for lawn care and just can't switch he's been loyal so I will too but my neighbor uses Colonial. They roll up and do a great job and are on there way. We bought our house last year with an existing sprinkler system maintained by Colonial Land Design. Their Irrigation department is horrible. Communication is non-existent unless you badger them. Last year we had the lines blown out in the fall and I pointed out one of the lines was hit by the development's landscaper and would need to be repaired. I sent pictures and pointed it out to the tech. He said he would have them reach out to me with an estimate...but they are very behind due to lack of manpower. Needless to say, no one contacted me then. I figured we could address it during the start-up. It took over 3 weeks to get the first appointment (Which was in May). They came out and noticed another part was broken in another area and gave a ridiculously high estimate to fix that and another 5 weeks. We had a handyman fix it for 1/3rd of the price. I rescheduled the start up (another 2 weeks) and verbally told them the "backflo" had been repaired. They did not note it in the file, so the technician, recognizing the address and didn't have a back flo part called in to the office to tell them he wasn't going to be able to do the start up, then never showed up without contacting us (which if we did we could have addressed the miscommunication). We had to call them repeat the back flo was repaired then they told us the next appointment was you guessed it 2 weeks out. When that tech came out I they still did not address the initial damage from last fall. We made ANOTHER appointment for them to come out and just cap off that damaged line. Once again they never showed up siting their techs had to "leave the country" Done....done dealing with the run-around. Called another higher rated company and they came out the NEXT DAY! Also be careful with their contract packages....they are NON-REFUNDABLE. read more

I have used Colonial for maintaining my sprinkler system twice a year. They are very prompt and do a professional job. Most of their workers are good. I have saved the names of people who came to my property for last 5 years. I usually request them to come again. I would recommend them for sure. read more

Scheduled to have my sprinkler system winterized today. I've had a reservation set for over a week with a service window today from 11:00am-2:00pm. It's now 3:30pm and I've been told the tech didn't have enough gas to get to me, so he chose to head to other appointments closer to him that were later on his schedule. Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and plan on rescheduling with another company now that I've missed almost an entire day of work. read more

The entire team, from the owner(s) to the office staff is very professional and courteous.
