Traveling and forgot my smokes. I stopped in and bought a few sticks to get me by. The staff was friendly and did not try and squeeze me for every cent. He suggested a cheap cutter that worked just fine since I already have some more pricey at home. read more

It is unfortunate that this is the only cigar shop in San Angelo. I went in and asked for a variety of cigars to try them out, and the store owner seemed as though he couldnt be bothered to help. After waiting for him to finish his cigar, he begrudgingly went and selected some cigars from the humidor. One of which was a Romeo y Julietta in a metal tube, upon opening had mold on the cigar. Overall, dont come in expecting a welcoming experience for cigar shopping/smoking, help with selection, or even quality maintenance of stock. read more

Great place to buy a cigar! From the moment you walk in to the time you leave, you will feel at home. If you're a new smoker or a seasoned smoker the staff will point you in the right direction. I've bought several items at this shop and stopped in once to smoke. A really nice little shop but the guy that runs the place is never very helpful. My wife has been in a couple of times to buy gifts for me and he is downright RUDE! to her! She went in a few weeks ago and took a cigar band from one of my favorites. She was intending to buy a box of cigars for Valentines which typically cost about $250.00. He did not have that particular cigar in stock so she asked for one that would be similar. He recommended one and when she asked him a specific question he snapped, "I don't know", turned and walked away leaving her standing alone in the humidor. She was so angry she just left. The thing is, that was the third time he had done that to her. She said she would never go back again. She ordered a box online and had to wait a few days for them but saved about $60.00. She said she would order online, even if it cost MORE before she will ever spend another dime at The Colonel's. read more

Adequate tobacconist for this size of a town. Things were a bit over priced but there was a nice selection and a nice lounge. They have some very nice gift items in the mix as well. The owners have mixed in some personal memorabilia with the tag "not for sale", annoying, but a nice stuff to look at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

Have been shopping here since 2004. The staff is military friendly for sure. USMC retired owner. They have a large selection of fine Cigars and wonderful pipe tobacco too. They carry many pipes and smoking accessories also. The only lounge in San Angelo where you can go inside to smoke your fine tobacco and relax. The staff is always friendly to me and greets me warmly. The Concho Cavendish pipe tobacco is awesome and my favorite !! Have bought some fine Cigars here to share with my teammates at A-Team Hiking for our hikes in years past.
