It is a traditional dish in that region of France and I highly recommend! This place is so cozy. We stayed here for probably 3.5 hours. There was no rush. We accidentally stayed past closing time and no one mentioned it to us until we noticed. This shows how friendly these people are. The service left a lot to be desired. In my experience, even when dining at a one-Michelin star spot such as Gramercy Tavern, I feel special and taken care of. This was not the case here. There wasn't a wine pairing offered with the tasting menu, so we asked the sommelier about getting wines by the glass to match the courses. He promptly told us that wasn't necessary and that red wine was fine for the entire meal. We obliged and followed his recommendation for an (admittedly tasty) bottle of red. While we enjoyed it, we didn't really care for having red wine during our vegetable and fish courses.
