Nick and team have been excellent to work with! My husband and I hired Nick to basically rebuild…read moreour Florida Room exterior, since we had a structural post and louvered windows that needed replacing. Not only is everything sound now structurally, but Nick also paid a lot of attention to details and everything looks great! From the look on the exterior with the Azek, to the detail work on all the trim around the windows and door, to the choice of quality products for our door and the windows and trim work and structure, the room looks great inside and out! As usual, some things came up (water damage inside a wall that needed addressing, screen issue with the windows due to a window company glitch) as tends to occur on jobs, and Nick handled it professionally. He kept his word and followed up on everything that needed to be followed up on until the job was finished. He was also in close communication with his crew to ensure that everything was handled well, and made sure his guys were on the job on time and doing things correctly. Nick and company is like a needle in a haystack when it comes to contractors! Make sure you book your job ASAP! The company is growing and Nick is getting very busy so don't put off your job, go ALL IN! Now! IDK yelp has me in California, lol, I'm in NY.

STAY AWAY!!!! Freddy - The owner of this business does not…read morelisten to a word you say. He completely ignored the multiple conversations we had with him about the deck we hired him to build. Everything done was different than we had discussed and looked sloppy and amateur. Then when we pointedly it all out to him he tried to blame the general contractor. When that didn't work he tried to blame my Husband! Not only did they mess the job up the first time, but when they came back to fix it it was still not good. Not to mention it took him 5 months or so to come "fix" it. We were building a deck off the back of our home over our new paver patio. We already had the ledger board up on the house and indicated the exact placement we wanted. He was told 1) we wanted 12 on center for the composite 2) no post in the middle of the patio 3) two levels of steps first coming down the side to a platform then second down to the grass. He gave the contractor a materials list and our contractor ordered. We then went and bought plenty of braces to have joists 12"on center. He also sent my husband out for lag bolts for the railings - great because we wanted them to be strong. He also told us we needed a manufactured wood beam encasing steel to avoid placing a pole in the middle of our patio - GREAT! We didn't want the pole. We got everything he told us to get. Starting work. They did not line up correctly on the ledger board and ended up cutting a foot and 1/2 off the engineered beam which they would not have had to if they lined up correctly with the ledger. The beam they cut - which was the size he told us to get - cost $100 per foot! That's $150 in the garbage PLUS a huge section of ledger board sticking out past the deck. When the went to "fix" that they used a sawsall and scratched the heck out of the finishing boards. They did not do 12 on center as we discussed. Then he told us he never knew. BS. he notched the railing posts and toe nailed them in (not very soundly) and did not use the lag bolts he told my husband to go get - DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH THEM! They measured the steps wrong so the rises were off by over an INCH! The steps leaned backwards. It would have been comical if they hadn't left them like that an cut the composite to finish them. I was amazed they actually created the treads and did not notice the backward slant! Unreal. The stairs also were nothing like we had discussed or what was shown in the drawing. Again this was anyone else's fault except theirs. He tried to blame the GC for ordering the wrong raw materials more than once. Then blamed my husband for not having a drawing. We had and gave him a drawing!!!!! His and his crew's work is shoddy. They appear to consistently look for short cuts and take no pride in their work (I'm guessing. If they do that's really freaking scary). The best part of their work is when they finally left. It still looks awful. We did not pay the final payment in full. Which was only about 20% of the quote. Because of all the work we are going to have to go back and fix, he agreed with taking half of his final payment. HE AGREED TO THIS! But when we went outside later we noticed he and his crew - out of spite- had emptied their trash and scrap bins in the hidden corner of our yard and in the flower beds. My husband found this and cleaned it up after he finished cleaning all the composite dust they left on our lawn and patio. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! SUCH HORRIBLE WORK! NEVER EVER EVER HIRE THEM! I added them to yelp just to write this review. I'm now going to hit Angies list, Google etc. save your money and your aggravation. Hire a different company.
