My daughter and I bought our live Christmas Tree at Coll's this year and it's the best tree we have ever had. Usually, when we get a tree, it is dried out and it drops needles all over the floor and is a fire hazard. That was not the case with our tree from Coll's! It is still fresh even though it's been up for 2 weeks. Sadly, we will have to take it down this weekend but we will definitely go back to Coll's next Christmas for our 2026 tree. The prices are fair and the service is local, friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a trip because on top of everything else, it has genuine rural charm if that is what you're looking for! read more

My Family and I cannot thank along with recommending Coll's Garden Center & Florist in Jaffrey, NH enough!! We live out of state in NC. We wanted to send seasonal door wreaths to our Sister, Aunt and to, also, be from her Daughter and Family, who live in Jaffrey, NH. She lives at Spring Village at Summerhill in Peterborough NH. They need the wreaths to be artificial arrangements and no larger than 12 inches, which is a nice size!! Bonnie with Coll's is absolutely wonderful to work with and has gone 'over and beyond the extra mile' to complete our requests!! She is always incredibly professional and responsive, making the entire ordering process seamless despite the distance!! She perfectly understood everyones, including our 'Loved one's', vision that was wanted for the wreaths!! The fall and Christmas/Winter silk wreaths she created are absolutely beautiful, stunning, elegant, and so realistic that many people can't tell they aren't fresh flowers!! The arrangements fit the size requirements perfectly and have brought so much happiness and joy to our 'Loved One' along with other Residents and the Staff too!! We came here for flower arrangements for my grandfather's funeral and had the worst service. The flower arrangements were something that Market Basket could've put together and the woman Bonnie that was helping us was an absolute train wreck. The rudest woman i've ever met had the audacity during my family's hard time to suggest if we wanted it done a certain way we should just go to home depot. The arrangements were not worth the $600 she charged us. read more

This low score is for the Power equipment service., charged $4.99 per foot for starter rope (4" + 19.96) . Felt like I was taken advantage of, lesson learned. Have shopped at the garden Center with good results, just will not deal with Power Equipment Services and can't recommend. read more

Although they have been able to fix almost everything we have brought here I must say that I don't appreciate being charged for services I didn't ask for. Every time I look at my bill there is a price that was double what I asked for and when I ask for an explanation on either what was done or what was fixed I never get an answer. Pickup fee for equipment is $70, they will tell you $35 but the charge you to pick up and drop off even if you live 10 feet away from them. read more

Bonnie did the flowers for my wedding in October of this year. I planned the event from the west coast which made it difficult, but she was very patient, super flexible, and willing to share her knowledge/expertise. She handled my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids' bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces for the reception tables. I'll be honest that some of the photos on their website look dated and less in style with what I imagined. This made me a little nervous, but she came recommended by wedding vendor locals, along with my fiance and his mom who have used Coll's for past flower needs. :) In any case, my reservations need not have existed. I absolutely loved all the flowers at our wedding and would highly recommend Bonnie. Prices were reasonable, interactions throughout the planning process were positive, and again, all the flowers were absolutely stunning! read more

Purchased a brand new rider mower for my husband 3 years ago, it's been back to the shop for repairs 2 times and now broken again! It's getting to the point where the repairs will exceed the purchase! Doesn't appear the people working there have much experience in repairs! read more

On 4/20/16 we ordered 10 yards of mulch. After delivery I looked that the amount and knew it wasn't 10 yards. However I waited for my landscaper who is the expert to give me his opinion. He told me my calculations were correct. It was just under 8 yards. I called that day and stated that we were shorted over two yards and that we used Colls for the first time and we know exactly how much mulch to order. We do this every year. The woman stated to me a that she couldn't do anything about it until I talk to Tom who delivered the mulch and he wasn't there. I would have to call later or have him call me later. I then got upset and said that is unacceptable because I was paying for three landscapers that day to do my yard and if I don't get the mulch today I would have to have them come back another day. She again said there is noting she could or would do anhything this time. I then stated I want the other two plus yards delivered today and hung up. They didn't deliver the additional mulch and I didn't ever receive a phone call to work something out. For the record I have never written a review, but I am very upset with them ripping me off and offering no solution and not even the courtesy of a phone call.. Florist, greeting cards, odds & ends, supplies for raising small livestock animals (chickens, geese, etc) & food to go with them, bales of hay & straw, veggie starter plants (when in season), annuals & perennials, house plants, shrubs, etc. If you're looking for relatively standard plants they'll have them here for CHEAPER than The House by the Side of the Road but it's about 1/6 the size so they don't have as much volume or variety of speciality products.
