I have several chronic conditions and he has always been able to help even if he has to send me to another doctor for treatment. He knows my husband and children on sight. Once I had a ruptured disc and in extreme pain. He sent me straight to have a MRI. Then straight to see a surgeon (there's usually a long time period to receive an appointment). He (his nurse sandra who has become a true friend usually calls) always calls to follow up on my progress. After my heart attack they called the same day I came home. I never notified them. I honestly believe that Milestone is the best in the Upstate. You won't be disappointed.A++++++++++ Tammy D

They didn't explain to me at all why my request was continuously denied, these are women btw, you would think they would have a bit more of an understanding when it comes to pregnancy losses, and pregnant women with autoimmune diseases. Anyways, they lost three patients today. This is honestly the very first issue I have had over here so it's really disappointing. I have no issues with the doctors I have seen, ( Dr Pollard and Dr Jones-Moon, who actually did tell me two different things in the situation) but their female nurses and office manager both have awful bedside manner considering their professions. I and my mother spoke to these women today, and they are super caddy and unprofessional. All I needed today was reassurance and an explanation, and for some reason these two things are not within their capabilities as healthcare professionals.

During my first visit, I was seen by Madeline Outz (the office manager, not a licensed physician but described misleadingly on their website as having "nursing and business experience"). She suggested I needed testosterone supplements without running any labs. When I questioned how this conclusion was reached without proper testing, she disappeared for a moment, returned with paperwork, and sent me to Easley Bariatrics for labs, their lab of choice. This was a red flag I regret ignoring. After my labs were done, I received a call from Madeline, who informed me my sodium was low. Her "professional" advice? To eat McDonald's fries. Yes, that was her medical solution. She also told me I qualified for testosterone therapy and even claimed to call in a prescription, though I never picked it up. Over the course of eight follow-up appointments regarding my sodium, I never had a single consultation with Dr. Outz. I only saw a triage person to take my vitals, followed by Madeline, who repeatedly brushed off my low sodium levels as "not serious enough to worry about." However, she continued to advise me to eat fast food fries as her medical solution. After deciding my health deserved better care than someone with "business and nursing experience" acting as a doctor, I switched to a real healthcare provider. Labs with my new doctor revealed dangerously low sodium levels--a critical issue ignored by Madeline at Outz Medical despite it being documented in my chart. I was immediately hospitalized for four days due to the risk of heart attack or stroke from this negligence. To add insult to injury, billing at Outz Medical has been a disaster. Despite repeatedly being overcharged beyond my insurance coverage, the office explained that since Dr. Outz is an emergency medicine doctor, they "coded him differently" but promised to fix the issue. Now I've received a bill from Aetna Health for his services in the tune $186, a company I have never been insured with in my life. It appears they have been billing multiple insurance companies for the same services. For months, I've tried to contact their office to resolve these issues. Their voicemail boxes are full, their phones have been disconnected, and their office is deserted. Staff from the other medical facilities in their shared building mentioned they receive inquiries daily from patients trying to locate Dr. Outz. This "doctor" is nothing short of fraudulent and negligent, jeopardizing patient health and tarnishing the reputation of legitimate medical professionals. Avoid this practice at all costs. *This review is based on my experience and my opinion has been expressed in it as oppose to accusations. *
