I DID NOT speak to anyone from Barkwood on Wednesday, I did send a message on Wednesday because my kids screen recorded the webcam all day on Tuesday and all day on Wednesday. For 2 days our dog was in his room all day long, morning to night. When I messaged the, informing them of this, they told me that Ike got out for a few minutes at 6:00am and then was out for "a few minutes" opposite of group time at 8:00am. They informed me that they have way too many dogs that need one on one attention and not enough staff members to give them all individualized attention. That is not my problem, I was told that my dog would be took out several times a day opposite of the group dogs as well as extra times that I paid for. I do not believe that taking my dog out at 6:00am and 8:00am and its very interesting that is the time that they claim he went out because I told them that my kids were screen recording from 9:00am on. Furthermore, it is VERY unacceptable that he was not given his medication twice a day, anyone can do the math and see that. Now I have to pay for more medication and additional treatment from the vet since they decided that they were "too busy" Also, throwing water on my dog before walking him out to the lobby is not a bath, just saying. Run dont walk from this place.

Since joining the Loyalty and Legacy family, Georgie has attended 1:1 sessions and school weekly. At school, he goes on pack walks, practices skills, and plays appropriately with dogs of all sizes. We have seen his confidence increase and we are able to take him anywhere in the community; most recently, he went out to dinner for Paws on the Patio followed by trips out for ice cream. Everywhere he has gone, people and other dogs have been able to approach without incident. We are extremely pleased with the services Jade and her team provide. Bucho is Georgie's favorite and walks with Dee are a hit.

Everyone has different comfort levels and expectations when it comes to pet care, so this was a personal decision. I chose to remove my original one-star review because I felt it did not fairly reflect the owner, who was always kind and professional throughout my experience. My intention is not to place blame, but simply to share my perspective as a former client. I hope the business continues to do well, as the owner demonstrates professionalism and care.

They treat each dog as if it was their own. We're always greeted with a warm smile at drop off in the morning, and another at evening pickup. We love that they offer spa and boarding services, meaning it's one less place we, and our pup need to visit. Otto, our 5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer is always excited to head to "school" in the morning, and literally struts out the door with his nose held high in the evening when leaving.

The staff is amazing, my dog loves the staff and the other dogs, and they are always happy to help. I would definitely recommend anyone with a dog that is friendly with other people and dogs, and is also comfortable with periodic downtime in crates, to experience dogtopia.

My impression changed after my puppy, My puppy , became very ill. I understand illnesses can spread wherever dogs socialize. My concern is how the situation was communicated and handled. Despite My puppy attending four days a week, Tuesday through Friday, the owner did not contact me directly about an outbreak at the kennel. When I raised this, he told me I "must have missed the memo." Without that information, I could have shown up for her regular Tuesday visit only to be turned away, leaving me without care and unable to work. I explained how upsetting this was, but I did not feel he took responsibility for the lack of communication. This situation affected both my puppy's health and my livelihood. I expected timely communication and accountability from someone I trusted with my dog. Based on my experience, I no longer feel comfortable recommending this daycare.
