This was a stop on the Vallarta Eats Food Tour, which was a nice break in between the numerous taco stands we were eating at.
ATMOSPHERE:
The bakery entrance is located down a hallway from their street-side sign. It looks like private property, but head on in! A simple retail area greets you but we got to go behind the velvet rope to check out their factory operations which also sports a huge brick oven big enough to fit about 30 baking trays at a time. A few trays were inside so the smells were wonderful!
GOODS:
They sell all sorts of baked goods. You name it, they probably have it. Loafs, baguettes, rolls, sourdough... Our group each scored a variety of selections, specifically a pack of cinnamon rolls for us. I'm not much of a bread/pastry person so we gave it to our friends that didn't go on tour with us.
SERVICE:
Our guide did the talking while touring the factory but the women there were more than willing to explain their products and were very friendly.
OVERALL:
