This place wasn't that good, it was pretty slow when I was there. Grilled octopus was so so, the steak I had was decent. Firmly 3 Star

AMAZING food! Owner and team were super engaged, helpful and nice. Easily the best service and meal I had in Germany.

Italian Food in Germany.....it's really good. This place looks like a dump from the outside but…read morethe food and the service is amazing. I think it's a neighborhood favorite because everyone knows each other. It's my second time here (about 3 years apart) and it is as good as I remember from the first visit. Pastas are great; cooked perfectly. I had the American with spagetti and no olives. Put a little parmigiana on top. Bacon was lightly cooked. Perfect for this dish. Also had the special which was a German sausage in a spicy tomato sauce. The perfect German Italian dish. Owner brought over some grilled vegetables the were cooked to perfection. Did not have thIs visit, but the antipastas look pretty good too. Will have to return next time I'm back in Cologne.

I didn't know it was not the same place until we showed up! Ok - I called to see if they could switch from 8 to 10 - the person who answered didn't speak English but I thought he got it - my bad. They jumped through hoops and accommodated our extra guests which was not an easy task. LOVE the authenticity of this place. Great wines, fantastic food and excellent service. EVERYONE loved it and I was so grateful that they took good care of us since not only did I book the wrong restaurant I didn't update our reservation. They saved the day and it was a great place to boot. We will be back next year!

I recommend this authentic Italian Restaurant and Bar in Cologne (Koln)Germany. The chefs,…read morebarista and servers/staff are all wonderful, friendly and accommodating. We were in Cologne for two weeks in September 2019 and during all our time there, we had the pleasure to eat at this restaurant frequently....we absolutely loved all their Italian dishes recommendations, it was the best eating experience we ever had! Schade.

My wife and I were searching for a place for dinner on our honeymoon and stumbled upon this place…read morealmost by accident. From the outside it looked like a small, typical Italian restaurant and was fairly empty, which we thought was weird during prime dinner time. We decided to give it a try anyway because they had menus in English. But our expectations were low. We were greeted and seated immediately by a server who spoke English. He was fairly attentive throughout our dining experience. We ordered a Caprese Salad, a Lobster Pasta and a Risotto with marscapone and we were delighted right from the start. The Caprese salade tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and paired well with the toasted bread. The Lobster Pasta was full of flavor, cooked al dente, served with half of a lobster which also had lobster eggs. The Risotto was cooked just right with the perfect amount of bite. The only downside was the Risotto was quite rich and heavy from the marcapone so you definitely need something citricy to cut through the richness. We would definitely come back to try more dishes and you should too.

We were served a basket of bread with a dish of olive oil and vinegar, as well as a small dish of tomato bruschetta. My husband had the rigatoni al forno (€8) and I had the tagliatelle with tacchino e funghi (€9). Both meals were absolutely delicious and I actually brought half of mine home. Definitely recommend.
