He answered our million questions, did not rush us and gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. I imagine I'm like most women--and no offense to Dr. Calvert--but these kind of appointments are not my favorite. Dr. Calvert and his staff and very kind and friendly. This went a long way towards helping us feel at ease. We ended up deciding to have the surgery. I decided not to read any "scary" stories online and instead trusted my entire outcome to Dr. Calvert and his staff. I'm so glad I did. Surgery can be very frightening and I'm not gonna lie: I was scared. I will always be grateful to Dr. Calvert for reassuring me that everything was going to be alright right before the anesthesia took effect. It's little things like this that tell you your doctor cares about more than just doing a great job during the procedure. I am now almost seven weeks post-op. My quality of life is already improving. Recovering from a major surgery is no picnic, but I'm doing great. Talk about some slick swindlers. She scheduled in person to push acupuncture, massage and supplements, I am going to an acupuncturist and massage therapist close to my house and I am happy with them. I told her I wanted to work on diet and told he specifically I wanted to get away from supplements. She recommended 6 supplements. I wanted to try and accomplish this with diet. She had me do blood test with Qwest Diagnostics what a night mare. There is a Lab One by her office they do an excellent job. The insurance billing took several months and numerous calls to complete. I don't know what she said to Dr. McNally but then I got a message from Dr. McNally saying she didn't want to have Medicare patients anyway and I should find another doctor. I didn't realize money meant so much to people but I guess it does.
