Specialties
My major focus is creating a road map with you, to show you how to get to where you want to go, setting goals around realistic, actionable steps you can take on a daily basis. Assessment, constant action and evaluation of those steps are key to your success.
If you are currently working, I also focus on mentoring clients in professional development within their current roles. Goal setting, time management, organization, weekly check-ins, current project assessment, and acting as a sounding board for challenges and/or ideas they want to explore.
Specifically, I provide assistance with:
-Career/job assessments, professional interests and values assessments.
-Job search strategies and goal setting, resume writing, and cover letters.
-Interviewing skills, industry recruiter contacts, networking and negotiation.
-1 minute Video resumes (in person clients only).
Don't have much time? Let's Walk and Talk. Take some action steps with your goals while getting some exercise in at the same time. Meet during your lunch break at a park near you. No better way to spend an hour.
History
Established in 2007.
My business started as a result of many years in Human Resources as a recruitment and hiring manager; interviewing people who talked about their dream jobs/careers, but who did not have a plan or hope that those those dreams could be achieved. I started by offering up a step-by-step list of how to get from the dream to reality of being in that job. Since 2007, I have successfully helped over 500 clients.
