They have fresh fruits, fresh veggies, an AMAZING deli section (smallish) with great fresh daily salads, GREAT cheese selection, fresh baked breads, & their own enclosed wine&beer shop. They have a terrific dips selections, crackers, chips... Trust me, you will find all you need!!! By the way, despite the atmosphere the prices are very very reasonable!! Less than Thomas Dux or a trendy downtown place. GO & your welcome :) The staff is also super friendly! Super friendly!!

I've only been in here twice now, both times to get the same thing. Couldn't find it at the normal supermarkets or anywhere else I normally go so I tried here and bingo, they new exactly what I wanted and where it was in the shop, and at a decent price as well. What was it I was after your probably asking yourself about now, well I'll tell you, even though there may be a real danger of causing a stampede to all the Asian supermarkets. But first there is the obligatory story to read, enjoy..... My sister introduced me to these on a recent day trip to Mount Martha, we stopped at the service station and shops on citylink for some brunch and at one of these shops they had beans or edamame as a substitute to chips. Well I decided to give them a go on her recommendation and we bought a tub of beans and a tub of edamame, we then sprinkled some Himalyan salt on them and devoured the lot. I preferred the edamame over the beans, they were also fun to squeeze out of their pods so I have been looking for them in shops ever since. So here I am ready to explore another bunch of new experiences in food from my local Asian supermarket, I can't wait. What are edamame you ask, they are soybean pods, who'd have thought it. Boil them up, add a little salt and get squeezing,Yum.

One of the first places that my wife sent me to pick up a few errands was Yeoh's. I felt somewhat like a stunned mullet upon my first entry into the store. All sorts of exotic (to me, anyway) merchandise and fresh produce is available, and the staff are usually good at helping me look where I need to in order to actually find what I've been sent for. So if you're looking for some ingredients to make that beef rendang recipe that you've been wanting to try, then this shop will see you right.

I love checking out NQR every now and then for the completely random range of items they stock…read more Although you cant bet on finding a winner every time, I usually leave with a swag of food, whether it be favourites for a discounted price, or something I haven't seen before that grabs my attention. Great for if you are having a party and need to stock up on finger food and dips etc, as the stuff is ready to eat and you'll save a bunch of great food that people are most likely going to devour whilst drunk. Basically, if you don't know how it works, NQR get regular brands of food, drinks, groceries and alcohol and sell them really cheap. These are brands you'll know of that might only have a month left on the expiry, or wound up here because they weren't selling well. However they get here is none of my business, all I'm concerned about is the fun of finding bizarre food items and buying them.

i love this little IGA. it stocks less generic brands, more locally sourced items. they have a…read morepretty amazing section of gluten free/organic packaged goods. i'm finally about to buy black beans in a can here! they used to sell blue corn chips too, but unfortunately no longer...yes, i am obsessed with tex-mex food. they have a portello cordial which i rage about if they run out. the prices for standard groceries are a bit pricier than i'd like, but it's amazing to pick up the extra special groceries. the fresh food section is pretty average. i'd avoid if you can.
