From Amarillo to Galveston, looking for something out of the ordinary, we some how ended up at the Texas Ranger and glad we did. Clean, comfortable, quiet and a very rustic feel the owners have done a great job on the place. Gary and Paula, the managers, did a great job of making us feel at home. There isn't much around. We brought dinner with us (micro wave in room) and enjoyed dinner with a view after a nice swim in the pool. The hotel is kept in its original state/theme, especially the large bar downstairs and is a good fit for a more rural county seat. Comfy, cheap, easy and easy to miss if you're not looking. Well worth the stay if you're in Brady for the night.

I think they were truly concerned about me as a person, because I'm not a troublemaker or doing drugs and all that. Just another human trying to get things in life straightened out. The man in the office just told me that if I need anything, come on down or call me. I've worked hospitality since my early 20's as a Night Auditor mostly, and this is the way a Motel or Hotel should be run. With kindness and knowing that the guests aren't just numbers. We are all humans. I'm on day 3 now and I'm not sure what's going to happen tomorrow, but I do know that I do not regret coming here. I'm very thankful that I was lead here.
