It's worth stopping by this cafe whether you're strolling through Blue Mountain Village, need a light coffee/tea before your next hike/ski, or just want a spot to relax on your visit. Service is friendly, they make their own syrups for their drinks, and they have plenty of Greek pastries too. Their standouts have to be their specialty lattes because they have some of the most unique flavours (butterbeer latte, anyone?)! I also love the aesthetic of this cafe - it's a calming, minimalist, forest vibe accented well by the stone accent shelving wall, floors and wooden fixtures.

Because this is in the heart of the Blue Mountain village, I fully expected high prices and mediocre snacks. I was really taken by how delicious the baklava and portugese tarts were!! I'm sad that we live so far away because it was probably the best baklava I have had. Coupled with extremely fair prices for such a central tourist spot, and a beautiful view of the mountain, this might be worth another visit next time we are in town! I tried the blue raspberry sorbet (dairy free) and lavender lemonade first to share. Both were delicious that I had to go back for more! I'm so glad I did because I got pistachio almond, which was the best flavour imo. I find many places don't do pistachio well. Sometimes it tastes "soapy". But here, it didn't have that and tasted like real pistachio. That's probably because they had tons of crushed pistachios and almonds in the ice cream. So good!! Highly recommend this place. Everything is pretty reasonably priced considering the portion size. On average it takes around 15-20mins to prepare as they are made fresh in the open cooking area. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Crepe ($14) and wow, it was stuffed with meat! I would say it was a nice mountain of meat, without an overwhelming amount of sauce. Everything was cooked just right, and there was a good amount of the ingredients overall. The beef was tender, and the sauce complimented it well (had a bit of spicy kick too). We chose Hatley's because it was close to the restaurant we had dinner at and it seemed cute. It was a warm day too so we were feeling ice cream! We ordered from the outside window. We did not go inside at all. They seemed organized and the flow of the line was seamless. Two workers were at cash - not sure if one was training. One took your order and another processed your payment. Another worker prepared your order and called your number when it was ready. There was a handful of people ahead of us, but felt that I waited a totally reasonable time for my ice cream, not a long wait. The employees were very nice, outgoing and friendly! The ice cream itself was okay. Nothing special but still enjoyable ice cream! I ordered one scoop of the Birthday Cake flavour in a cone. Originally, I was going to order two scoops but luckily someone ahead of us ordered two scoops and I saw just how big the scoops were! So while the ice cream was basic (but still yummy and good), I was quite impressed with the amount of ice cream you got for the price.
