I can't think of anywhere else in town that does anything similar. Service has always been courteous but I feel like they could do a slightly better job keeping the tables clean. Haven't been here for a while so decided to stop in amd grab the founder's creation. They were fast and loaded up the medium - Love it- order. It was good. It did remind me that their ice cream is softer than normal- I Think they serve it that way so they can more easily manipulate the mixes on the stone. It was also super sweet. Plenty of parking in this lot, lots of other shops, bakeries, fitness shop, Chinese restaurant, Safeway, UPS, etc. Upon walking in there was only 1 girl and she greeted us and told us to take our time. She didn't rush my indecisive daughter, which was appreciated. She rang me up, then even offered to write the balance of my card on my card for me. We went on our way. Not sure why there were so many bad reviews, we got a couple of Love It Mix ice creams and a 4 pack of some Ice Cream Sandwiches. I didn't take a pick of the mixes as they were a little smushed by the time we got home. But the sandwiches were still perfect looking. Starting with first, they refused to honor an offer posted on their website. I understand that as a chain that offers may not apply to every store, but seeing as how this was listed on their store website, I was understandable upset when they refused to even acknowledge their error. Look at the bad reviews. I should have known. I purchased a cake here and it was not made as I ordered. I immediately called in and was told that I could come into the store tomorrow and get the cake made correctly. I was also told I did not need to return the cake. Though my child's birthday was the day the cake was picked up I just agreed. As I was told, I came into the store the next day and asked about the cake. The next sales person said they could not remake the cake but would ask the manager to refund the cake. The employee said she needed to call the manager who I later found out is the owner. The manager spoke to the employee and told the employee that she could only offer a 15 percent discount on the next purchase. I spoke to the manager and was told the same. I only did what the employee told me too and what either employee said was not honored. It is sad they this location in Benjamin Holt treats its customers this way especially long standing customers. We came in and purchased for 4 people in which one of them were a chocolate shake. It was literally WATER/liquidy. I have been to cold stone before and have never had that watery shake before. We asked her if it's suppose to be like this as we have bought it before and she said "it's because of the consistency of the ice cream" makes absolutely no sense?
