Elisa provided absolutely phenomenal service. She made my ice cream with extra special love and care and it tasted amazing

I received a $5 gift card and tonight was the time for using it. The parking was packed (6pm on a Sunday) so I needed to be patient but once I got a spot, I stepped in and was pleasantly greeted. My order was simple: a Gotta have it (the largest size cup $8.59) of the sweet cream with a serving of blueberries mixed in. The massive ball of sugar and milk was put onto the marble slab, the blueberries went in and then it was all scraped together then served in my requested cup. I started eating it there but it was much larger than expected so I took the rest home. The place was busy with folks walking in to get their sweet tooth sated, families with little ones and adults by themselves. After my $5 gift card was applied it was just $4+ for that huge cup. read more

I love Coldstone. I worked there when I was in my teens and early 20s and still never got sick of it. The Altamonte location is great. It's mostly very busy inside. The workers are kind. Today I went in at around 4:45 and it was empty and completely clean. I had a great experience and I'll certainly be back in the future. read more

Everyone needs ice cream and we were wanting something to snack on that wasn't too heavy. Came in to this location to grab a Love it of Coffee Lovers and Founder's favorite. Our selections were smooth and crunchy. We enjoyed. The 2 staff that were in were nice and welcoming to everyone coming in. read more

Stopped by Cold Stone Creamery was craving it for the last 3 days and decided to order the Birthday Cake Remix with a personal twist--I swapped out the brownie for yellow cake. The result was absolutely delicious! The creamy ice cream, combined with the moist yellow cake, was a perfect blend of flavors that satisfied my sweet tooth. I orderd a waffle cone as well so I can scoop it while lounging Although the line was long for a weekday afternoon, the wait was worth it. The staff were friendly and efficient, making sure each order was made to perfection despite the busy crowd. read more

The store was empty and the worker was rude because we were taking too much time. Needless to say I'm not buying anything from them.

I loved Makayla so much! So sweet and brings such good energy and very quick with the orders!

Great creamery with many flavors to choose from. You can also create your own! They also offer milkshakes, smoothies, sundaes, cakes, cookies, and other small treats. The sizes for the ice cream are small ($7.09), medium ($7.19) or large ($7.29) The sizes are great to share and you can even add a waffle cone. Service was great and the flavor I created was amazing. I mixed French Vanilla with Twix, almonds, and pretzels. It was a great mix and I asked for an extra cup to share, it was perfect. If you are in the area give them a try! read more

This is a nice location and in a great spot. I ordered the Oreo special and added pecans. The staff made it in front of me and she was so fast. We were in and out so fast. The ice cream was sooooo good! I haven't been in years but I'm so glad I made a visit. Cold stone never misses. read more

The attention to detail is what stands out most. Nothing feels generic--everything feels curated. Plus the ice cream is so good.

We love Coldstone, the staff is always lovely and patient, the ice cream always hits, and the topping choices are plentiful!

I love Cold Stone Creamery, but I have gotten used to paying their expensive prices for just about everything offered on their menu. That being said, I think it is 100% worth it! I am always satisfied when I leave Cold Stone. My favorites are the 'Oh Fudge!' milkshake and their signature ice cream, 'Birthday Cake Remix'. The staff at this location were friendly and hardworking. I definitely recommend this Cold Stone Creamery location! read more

My first time at Cold Stone couldn't have been any better. You can choose from a variety of ice cream flavors. A lot of them are your typical flavors, but some unique as well. The toppings are endless. I chose the birthday cake batter ice cream with brownie, fudge, and sprinkles mixed in. It was absolutely delicious. If you are going with someone and want to split the same flavor combination, just up a size. The cost is basically nothing to upgrade from the smallest size. read more

Came with some girlfriends for a late night scoop! I deviated from my usual chocolate PB and tried the Apple Pie a la Cold Stone. It was freaking amazing! The vanilla ice cream was packed with cinnamon, pie crust bits, apple pie filling, and caramel. The pie crust and cinnamon made it extra dreamy! I was so impressed. The only iffy part was the service. The line was rung really inefficiently. They served people behind us and then those people had to cut us to go pay so it was kinda disorganized. The staff also seemed to be in a bad mood with minimal communication and not a smile to be seen. At least pretend to be happy when you work with ice cream! Either way, we had a nice time and the shop was cute and clean. read more

I was really craving an ice cream while we were in the area so we stopped on in one evening. I got the Oreo cream and the son had to get the cotton candy ice cream. Service was fast... but the employees were not very enthusiastic. No smiles or anything. I just always look for a pleasant experience when I'm out and this wasn't at the top of my list. Our ice creams were served to us quickly, but sadly, we weren't big fans. For some reason, they just seemed overly sweet (yes, ice cream is sweet... but this was on another level). I'll probably stick to my go-to local, small business ice cream shops. read more

Who doesn't;t love ice cream? Cold Stone Creamery is convoineientcy located a block way from Cranes roost park. It is simple to grab a cone, shake, whatever and take a stroll around Cranes roost park. The shop is small as all of them are and this one is typically somewhat crowded Ed unless you go at an odd time. Boneless the line usually moves quick and you get served without a whole lot of trouble. One of the things folks like about cold stone is that you can get a variety of different "mix-ins" to go with your ice cream; everything from berries, brownies, KitKat, waffle cone crumbles, cereal bits, cookie dough, and lots more. The waffle bowls here are exceptionally good. My recommendation is grab a waffle bowls w/ a scoop and a mix-in and take a stroll around Cranes Roost park/lake. Enjoy! read more

There is nothing like good ice cream for dessert. We stopped for dessert after an early dinner and others had the same idea. The place was pretty busy but they served the ice cream pretty quickly given the hands on mixing that they do. I had one of their signature creations and they offer about 18 of these mix ups. Mine was German chocolate with chocolate ice cream of course, pecans, coconut, brownies and caramel. I opted to pass on the brownies so that it would not be too sweet and a little less calories. The ice cream was creamy and delicious. The service was quick and staff was attentive. My daughter had her ice cream with an awesome waffle cone for free. The super Yelp app offered a coupon. My husband had a huge vanilla milk shake that he enjoyed. There is not a lot of seating available and the space does not lend it self to a large group to sit down and enjoy. This is a good location...not too far from the mall and near apartments. But the parking lot needed to be tidied up. There was a fair amount of debris around and you really do not want to see that when getting something to eat. And when you are spending a kinda high price for a treat. The small serving of ice cream is over $5 dollars but it is a good portion. You can also create your own ice cream mix up and there is big selection of toppings. This was a pleasant visit and a beautiful day. We will be back to taste more of their creations. read more

It was a very hot summer day, so we definitely wanted to eat some ice cream. We decided to stop by Cold Stone. The line was pretty long, but we only waited for about 10 to 15 minutes. I ordered the almond milk chocolate ice cream with strawberries, and my wife ordered the apple pie ice cream. Overall, my ice cream was pretty good, and for the price, it came with a lot. I definitely recommend ordering a large and sharing with your spouse since the difference between a small and a large is only $0.20. As for my wife's ice cream, it was delicious. The apple pie was fresh and created a nice contrast with the ice cream. The service was great, and our server was very quick in getting our food done. Honestly, I have no negative experience to share. read more

I've loved Coldstone my whole life! Nothing is better than a last-minute decision for their germanchokolatecake creation. We stopped for a late night girls trip to scratch the itch. The quality and consistency of our ice cream was fantastic as always. However, service was unfriendly and awkward. We were skipped in line for payment by choice of the employee, without being asked or notified. I could tell they were trying to just get the line moving, but we were almost literally pushed out of the way. The employees did not seem rushed, but just very unhappy. We came back the next week, hoping for a different experience. Although service was faster, the line was served out of order and with the same lack of friendliness. After two visits, it seems like this might be the vibe of the Altamonte location. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Counter - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Altamonte Springs, Florida

Ordered Cold Stone a couple nights ago via Postmates. I get ice cream from here every few weeks as it is close to where I live and one of my favorite ice cream places. Whether I pick it up or have it delivered, the ice cream stays perfectly cold and in shape until I get home (roughly about 7 min). My fiancé gets the Founder's Favorite (sweet cream ice cream, pecans, brownie, fudge, and caramel) every time and loves it!! I always get the same thing as well: I create my own using French vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, m&m's, Reese's peanut butter cups, and rainbow sprinkles. We both swear by our picks because it's so good! Aside from that, they have a wide variety on their menu, whether it's a signature creation, creating your own, milkshake, smoothie, cake, etc. All of their picks always taste amazing. The ice cream is always perfectly smooth and they always have a wide variety of add-ons. read more

My absolute favorite ice cream place! My order is a little complicated but I'm so grateful that the cold stone crew always tries their best to get it right each time. Cold stone = always packed! This ice cream is so good they get four stars but so expensive they can't get five! The Altamonte location is in a Great Location with cranes roost on the same block. You can find a parking space but if you don't there is some parking nearby. There are a few tables inside but it's very cramped. The servers are pleasant but they attempt to check out an entire party and it doesn't run smoothly. Rewards points program is good and checking in with Yelp! gets you a free cone. I would give 3 stars for price but the ice cream is so good and they give you so much in your bowl that it works. read more

Love this little place. It's clean but seating is limited. The staff has always been super friendly. I get the cake batter batter and it's life. Try the waffle cone or waffle cone bowl. I promise you'll thank me!! :) The only reason for the 4/5 is because it's a standard experience with nothing bad but also nothing extremely memorable or fantastic. read more

I normally don't write reviews but this Coldstone location 100% deserved a great review after my experience. For my birthday, I went on Coldstone's website to see what kind of cakes they made and I fell in love with the description of the Quilted Coffee Caramel cake. I called my local Coldstone to see if they had that cake in the store and was informed that they don't carry it and couldn't tell me what locations do carry it. Determined to find one that did, I called this location and asked them the same question. This time the girl who answered the phone told me that they also don't normally carry that cake BUT that she would be happy to custom make it for me! When I got it it was exactly what I wanted, looked amazing (just like the photo) and tasted incredible. I couldn't recommend this location more. Thank you for making my birthday that much more special! (And for anyone who thinks this cake sounds enticing, it is lick the bowl good. I think the girl who gave it to me that day even said they were thinking about making more of them and putting them in their carryout case.) read more

Our friends wanted dessert after catching a movie and we ended up here. It was still busy and hopping at 10:45pm, but we luckily got a table for our group (there are only 4 tables with 2 chairs each for seating). Everything looked very rich and decadent, but while standing in line, I decided to check ingredients list and realized my 1st choice - the Sweet Cream flavor had ingredients listed like: corn syrup, Guar Gum, Cellulose Gum, Mono & Diglycerides, Polysorbate 80!! Hm - I wouldn't think vanilla ice cream made with the "finest quality ingredients" would need anything beyond cream, milk, sugar, eggs and vanilla!! I ended up getting just plain chocolate as that and the dark chocolate flavours were the only two on the ingredients list that had limited amount of what I consider to be not-real food, but I can't believe I paid $5 bucks for the privilege of putting chemicals in my mouth :( C'mon Cold Stone Creamery - you can put better quality ingredients in your ice-cream! I will say however, service was excellent and staff were super friendly, which is why it's 2 stars rather than 1. But I don't plan on coming back to any of these stores again, unless their ingredients change! read more

Why is this location the only one making up rules??!!! So I usually get a kids come. One scoop of ice cream in a small cone about $3 and some change. I walk in ask for a kids come and the girl proceed to tell me that they can only put the corn on top - I am confused by this- so I ask further question and she then tells me jay the ice cream scoot is too big. Ummm okay . Either way I reiterate that I want a kids scoop and cone and move on. OH AND This location doesn't just have the Oreo cream ice cream. You have to get the sweet cream and have them add a cookie Moving on. So she gets the little scoop, mixes in a Cookie and put it in a cup with a kids cone on top. I get to the register and my Billie $6.73!!!!! WHY??!! So I start asking more questions about the ONE scoop KIDS CONE that I wanted and she proceeds to tell they don't have kids cone WHAT! HOW! What do little children order from here? Needless to say I will continue to go to my other cold stone location because that's just craziness. This location is not for me. read more

We ordered online at 9:00. App said would be ready at 9:22. Walked in at 9:28. Order not ready. Asked when ordered would be ready. Said 4 orders ahead. It is now 10:13PM and our order is not ready. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!! The whole point to ordering ahead is to not have to wait. Staff and Manager were overwhelmed and rude when we expressed our concerns that we had to wait almost an hour. I've never had a "bad" experience here when it comes to the actual ice cream or employees, but minus 2 stars because every time I've been here (8-10 times in the past year), there is at least 10+ people in line. I'm actually in line right now and counted 15 people in front of me. There have been times when I've walked in then turned around and walked out due to the lines. Management should assess the situation to determine whether adding more employees to certain shifts would alleviate this issue. read more
