I believe that because the polish was an older and therefore thicker, it caused there to be too much polish on my nails. There was a definite huge rise on the tip of my nail as a result of this, and I am not new at manicures. If i am paying £19 for a basic manicure (that didn't even remove most of my cuticle), then I expect it to last at least a few days. Overall: Manicures are a no-no. Hair is so-so. If you are desperate, then go-go.

They also had a rough texture as if the powder was too grainy. My eyebrows were waxed unevenly and not shaped well at all. I was extremely upset as I felt my nails and face ruined my enjoyment as I was self-conscious about how I looked. The service was really good though as I had a lovely conversation with the girl doing my fingernails. However the girl doing my toenails seemed to be rude and in a foul mood slumping around the place.

The nail techs are super efficient and good at what they do, but they don't really do any design work like some of the other spots. If you like simple designs, this place definitely won't get it wrong. The last time I had shellac done it by them, it lasted for over 2 weeks. They have a loyalty scheme, so if you get your nails done on a regular basis, it's good to know.
