I learned about this salon from a client at my own job - she is an employee there. I decided to go in and check out their menu of services on my lunch break. Prices seemed reasonable, so I called and booked my appointment. I had checked out all of the stylists online and had hoped to be booked with Kristen M. as luck would have it, that's exactly who I got! She was very friendly and welcoming. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and actually said she was reluctant to do a service until my color grew out, stating it would make my hair unhealthy and she didn't want to be responsible. I appreciated her honesty and concern. I got the best cut and color from her and was thrilled with the price. My color has held up well and looks natural - just the way I like it. Kristen took the time to ensure I walked away loving my look! In observing other stylists while waiting under the dryers, they seem talented, too. It's not a salon with a lot of frills, though it's very clean and inviting. They have a separate nail area. I loved that I could tip on my credit card. So many places require cash tips now. This makes it easy and allows me to tip a bit more generously, as I rarely have cash. They offer coffee, tea, etc. I recently had my second cut with Kristen and was equally pleased with the results! It was also like sitting and chatting with an old friend. She gives pretty awesome scalp massages during the wash, too! They don't hard sell products like many salons I have been to. Brought our teenaged daughter here for a cut and she loved her hairstyle as well! So happy to have found a consistent, friendly, reasonable and exceptional salon!!

Booking is easy and quick with a text message or a phone call and she is always prompt to respond! As for the tanning product: I have tried my fair share of spray tans and Sarah's product has by far lasted the longest and was the most natural in color. She has multiple shades to choose from and she is very knowledgeable to ensure you get exactly the look you are looking for. She applies evenly and if you have any specific modifications (I like to have my face and decollete sprayed twice) she is happy to accommodate. If am diligent on moisturizing my tan last up to 10 days, days 2-5 being the best (making sure not to shower or be in contact with water for the first 24hrs). I also want to mention as the tan fades, it fades evenly. You will not see splotchy discoloration. Its almost as real as a real tan! Highly recommend!

In addition, I was celebrating have a miracle happen in my life. I was almost 2-weeks post kidney transplant. We had to go to a salon closer to my friend's house because she didn't have a lot of time before her daughter was going to get home. PROS: ~The owner was lovely in getting in at such a last minute. ~She had a very fun personality. ~As it turned out, the owner used to cut my friend's deceased husband. #Signs ~It did lighten my friend's day and we just laughed at being unintentional "Heman twinsies." CONS: ~She gave me and my friend a really short, really crappy haircut. WE told her exactly how short we were willing to go and even provided photos of what we were looking for. I wanted NO SHORTER THAN MY collar bones and Chelle wanted it just a week shorter than that. We both had hair down past our shoulders. ~NONE of that was paid attention to OR she insisted the haircut wouldn't look good on us that we wanted. Once you take my glasses off? Well, I can't see a damned thing and I thought she was going to lower the belt she has you hold around your neck for her to cut it. Once it was hacked off, nothing I could really do. Ain't like you can glue it back on and start over, right? ~She had said she had given this 'HeMan' haircut twice before and everyone loves it. I should have known and asserted myself - but I was on and am on so many damned medications got me a little loco and I am feeling so grateful for this miracle, I just didn't say much but give platitudes and focus on telling my friend how great she looked. She really can carry the 'haircut of doom' off. In closing, it has been my experience that if your hairdresser is on the older side and has a shaved, short hairstyle?
