Brookers has been in Hitchin for decades and it has that reassuring feel of being an integral part of the town situated just off the main market square in Bucklersbury. They sell a huge range of stuff from household products, ironmongery, tiles and floor coverings and a whole heap of DIY tools and product. They also offer a coal delivery service which we make regular use of and, if you ask nicely, they'll even unpack the coal and put it in your bunker for you. Their service is always friendly and helpful and the staff seem knowledgeable and keen. Brookers is a Hitchin stalwart and a great asset in the town.
