When you've a certain amount of review you have to do each week, you really open your eyes to the locations around your city. This is a place I've lived in my whole life, and I've discovered more about it in the past few weeks than I have in the years preceding.
This park is out of the way, to say the least. And that is, of course, the best thing about it. I've been there but twice, and yet both times the park was nearly deserted. Not completely deserted (as I find parks which are completely deserted are creepy, and seem fitting locales for horror movies), but deserted enough I can sit back and enjoy a novel without worrying about being interrupted by a hook-monster, or wolf-man.
Of course, there IS equipment here for the very young too. So if you want to let your children go wild whilst you read said book, feel very free to do that. I didn't try and of the equipment myself, I'll admit (I was worried what the mothers would think of me), but it sure LOOKED fun. And safe, as a second priority. read more
