Having been chosen to be the executor to some family members, I graciously accepted when asked…read more Upon acceptance, I had no idea what executorship entailed. It's ALOT of hard work & back-and-forth if the chosen person lives out-of-state. Following consultation with attorneys, I was advised to contact an auctioneer/auction house. Coincidentally, my family member frequently Attended auctions and I recognized the name of one he would tell me about periodically. I now know why he spoke so emphatically about Mumma auctions. I am so thankful to have found and entrusted the estate to Curtis Mumma! From the initial phone call to the final good-byes, Mr. Mumma was kind, cordial, honest, straightforward, thorough and quick to respond! He and his staff graciously handled everything from start to finish for me. Living out of state, yet having roots in Ohio, I felt 100% at ease with my choice of his company. If I needed further clarification on anything or advice on what i 'should' do he was there with a logical answer! He truly made settling my family's estate easy! His guidance has fully prepared me to carry out such an honor for my parents or anyone else who may ask me to do so in the future!

As auctioneers, they are pros, but they don't care much about you, the customer. Karen S.
