The place is pretty massive, it has aisles that are alphabetized for ease of search, but there's so much stuff in there that you wouldn't even know where to start. For example, $2 disposable yellow raincoats. Amazing. $7 '*insert name here* PARKING ONLY' signs to stick outside your house for laughs. $2 caps. $2 angry birds keyrings. $3 packs of bubble wrap, self-sealing envelopes. Dare you to go in there and not find something to buy. Service was super friendly.

It's part of the shopping complex on the corner of Valley and Dominion Rd so it's got great free parking (always deserves a mention). There is pretty much everything you can imagine here. There's toiletry supplies like cotton buds and dress up outfits. Toys and books too. I thought the books were great. They seemed to be great quality reads for kids and they were very affordable. There were also hats and fake flowers and pots and wrapping paper... so much stuff. It is fun just to look around, there are some odd things here too, especially in the bathroom and cleaning sections. I always thought BB Guns were little plastic devices that didn't cost much, however you can pay anything up to 395 dollars for a really good one. Lots of inexpensive unbranded clothes, and some funny t shirts stood out to me, and they have quite a selection of clothing for a Coin Save.

Okay so the quality of the products can be questionable but you get what you pay for and let's be honest you only walk into a $2 store if you're looking for a quick-fix. The store is reasonably well laid out but with the familiar clutter of a well-stocked bazaar. The first thought was to package the leftovers and drop it in at IHC Op shop. The ladies in store where delighted to have the old gear, which also included about two boxes of books my family had read. This charity organisation op shop is a fantastic place to take your personal belongings and trust they will sell and use the money raised towards the good of the Intellectually Handicapped Person. Having known that this is where the money is directed towards, I am always more than willing to give items no longer needed in my household to this worthy cause. As a shopper in the IHC I really like the range of home ware items like vases, bowls, or platters. I also love the homemade marmalade for sale here made by the volunteer ladies a treat, and a magical old recipe.

I would say that home ware item's are the most popular selling item in store, and even kitchen ware such as old pots, and cook wear are the go as well. I would only ever pop in to search for a cast iron pan if that, but do admire the selection and variety of home and kitchen products. The staff are helpful, and the store does get quite a few browsers- if you're after a bargain, the prices are reasonable and inexpensive. I know that the old couch or bed that we don't need any more, can serve a purpose and help a struggling family in my community, so please do your part if you can.
