Although I love a bargain, I'm not a regular patron of the $2 shops. The things they sell look dubious and probably last a very short period of time. Still it is a fine example of the free market economy, the kinds of things that can be manufactured and sold at a profit for less than $5.
I recently dropped and broke some of my expensive make-up on a public holiday and no shops were open, I drove past Coin World, which was open, and decided to take a chance. They actually do sell make up which looks fairly passable, so much so in fact that I have kept it and have not replaced it with the expensive product I broke.
Having a little browse in here, I think this particular Coin World sells a few little gems along with the regular stacks of not-so-useful items. Would shop here again. read more
