If you ever have an old couch,bed,drawer set,set of chairs you name any household product; the kind folk of this Salvation Army store will be happy to take it from you. I would say that home ware item's are the most popular selling item in store, and even kitchen ware such as old pots, and cook wear are the go as well. I would only ever pop in to search for a cast iron pan if that, but do admire the selection and variety of home and kitchen products. The staff are helpful, and the store does get quite a few browsers- if you're after a bargain, the prices are reasonable and inexpensive. I know that the old couch or bed that we don't need any more, can serve a purpose and help a struggling family in my community, so please do your part if you can.

The first thought was to package the leftovers and drop it in at IHC Op shop. The ladies in store where delighted to have the old gear, which also included about two boxes of books my family had read. This charity organisation op shop is a fantastic place to take your personal belongings and trust they will sell and use the money raised towards the good of the Intellectually Handicapped Person. Having known that this is where the money is directed towards, I am always more than willing to give items no longer needed in my household to this worthy cause. As a shopper in the IHC I really like the range of home ware items like vases, bowls, or platters. I also love the homemade marmalade for sale here made by the volunteer ladies a treat, and a magical old recipe.

Can be overlooked as the store, is located between takeaway food stores, and a skate clothing outlet shop. Venture in to find an amazing range of choice. All the gifts have an artistic flair to them I believe which is amazing. I arrived not knowing what I wanted to buy, and found two presents within minutes- that is not hard to do here. Walk out the back of the store and there is an outside section that sells outdoor/garden gifts- a favorite area of mine. A creative option of gifts here before the store across the way.

The best is outside the back. It's quite easy to think you're done after doing a quick circuit inside but if you potter up into the outdoors you will see a beautiful garden with great little things to make your own garden look just as beautiful. I usually will let my son out of the push chair to run around the store and look at all the goodies. I have purchased a few warm leggings in the past from this store during winter, and find that they have all sorts of toys and games to keep the small child entertained for a bit. One thing my little boy loves is Thomas the Tank engine, and they have a bunch of merchandise dedicated to the cheerful tank, which we usually pop in to buy or play with. A great store to look for gifts, and they have some fantastic preschool to primary bags and lunch bag's to purchase. I always walk out with something that's fun for the kid.

I usually pop in to Fresh n Save to grab Chinese cooking ingredients such as rice cooking wine, soy sauce, noodles, rice, green veggies, tofu, and herbs. The price is very competitive with the large supermarkets close by, and you can be guaranteed saving a few pennies here for sure. Lots to see and find in terms of international flavour, and is always a delight to expand my Asian cooking skills with the products I discover at Fresh N Save. The two checkout counters are usually busy, but try to shop during off peak hours, and you shall find you won't have to wait long at all.
