I appreciate that the appointment for a cleaning was scheduled very quickly at this Hopewell location. On my second appointment, a professional, experienced, highly-qualified Lissa, gently and meticulously cleaned my teeth. An added bonus was the take-home bag filled with dental goodies. My exam was performed by a gentle dentist, Dr. Son. I look forward to my next appointment and highly recommend this amazing group of people.

I'd been having trouble with headaches and grinding my teeth. Dr. Sheppard gave me options and advice on how he could help with making me a custom night guard. They claim that you need to schedule a $75 consultation first to talk about the options. What options? I want the tooth pulled. Just a clever way to get more money out of you. Or try and sell you some high-priced crown. Check the reviews on other sites. They are bad news. Stay away from this place.

The prices at this place are absolutely outrageous. I was referred there by a new dentist to the…read morebranch in Petersburg, Va for removal of two wisdom teeth. I scheduled the appointment for the extraction. I got there in plenty of time to fill out all my paper work, because I was a new patient. No biggie. So, after they do my X-ray and give me a consultation, they say that they are going to schedule me for the actual surgery. Umm...hello...I thought I was scheduling for the surgery. Before they do the surgery, they give you a rundown of the cost. I needed 2 wisdom teeth pulled and they wanted to charge me almost $900 that had to be paid today. That's with my insurance. I've had surgery before and I've never heard of a doctor's office of any kind not billing for the procedures. I could probably get my appendix taken out for less money. I'm not saying that these people are not good or anything, but I do believe that their prices for an extraction are outrageously high. If your dentist refers you to them, be prepared to sell your stock, pull from your 401k and empty out that savings account for your child's college tuition. I would like to add that they did do a great job with my surgery. They called to check on me and have called in prescriptions for me. But, I do recommend that if they quote you a price and send the pre-estimate to your insurance company, check your insurance's website and make sure that what they are charging you what they should be charging. They didn't quote me the network fee (which is what the company and the insurance company agree is the price of the treatment). They quoted me the full fee. But, I brought it to their attention and I was charged the proper amount.
