Davis, Marfa about this man and it won't take long before you hear a horror story. He doesn't order tests for people who are in real trouble, and sends them home to have their condition worsen to a dangerous point. He takes out appendix unnecessarily. He doles out pain meds to addicts who need REAL treatment/help. He diagnoses elderly people who have mild confusion in certain aspects of their lives with "severe dementia" getting them committed to institutions when they should be home with their spouses or families. He loses people's medical records on a regular basis, then actually tries to blame them, no matter how ridiculous the logic. These are just a small sample of infractions made by him. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN! I have lived in west Texas for 37 years, and never have I heard so many negative things about one doctor. It would be completely naive to give him the benefit of the doubt at this point.

I was so uncomfortable at this point, I did not care that Dr. Fielder never showed up to check my teeth - I just wanted to get the heck out of there. After seeing Korus, getting a proper diagnosis, and a referral to an oral surgeon, I am beyond disappointed that not only did Fielder's hygienist misdiagnose me, but she claimed I needed much more work done than I truly needed. I feel like I was being convinced to pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for work that I truly do not need. It's upsetting and sad.
