My go to order is the set of tomato, basil and hummus bruschetta-it is the most tasty combo ever. I also recommend the earl grey latte and assorted teas. The ambience is nonchalant and has a friendly-hipster vibe. It is full of amazing art work and the customer service is exceptional. In addition to a relaxed vibe, they have indoor and outdoor seating and have good working WiFi. I highly recommend this coffee shop and without a doubt come here again for the delicious bruschetta.

I stopped in this cute cafe on my last day in Santiago. I actually had no intention of grabbing a…read morebite to eat but I needed Wi-Fi ASAP to check on the status of my late Uber driver to transport me back to the airport. Lol The staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. I ordered a cup of tea (pronounced te) and a muffin to go. I hung around and took care of my internet biz first. The staff offered me a tiny complimentary chocolate cake and I loved the place even more since chocolate is my bff. I conversed with the staff a bit with them teaching me a few Spanish words and me teaching them English. The cafe was very clean, quaint and very cozy. You can definitely enjoy breakfast and unwind before you start your day. If I lived in the area, this would be a local go to spot.

They serve their coffee strong and with a delicious small bar of dark chocolate (73% cacao) and absolutely delicious! This quaint cafe is perfect for a number of different cafe-type activities including, but not limited to, breakfast on a weekend outside in their nice patio, a work meeting or working solo with your computer. One of the many good things about this cafe is its super cute, picturesque cafe style. Everyone who passes by, lingers for a second outside of the large windows before continuing on their way. The service is good and quick and their internet is fast! The ambiance is relaxed, warm and has the perfect amount of white noise and alternative music to be conducive to working. They also have a variety of tasty pastries (I recommend their galletas surtidas) as well as lunch and dinner options. For breakfast, I hands down recommend their granola and yogurt. It is a perfect weekend breakfast treat, accompanied by one of their delicious cafe-lattes. yum! Tip: Despite the delicious looking cake sign, I do not recommend their carrot cake. They have so many other great pastries I wouldn't opt for this one. If it is warm, sit outside with a nice juice or coffee or pick up something to go and walk through the park (it is a block away).

Café Haití - Chocolate crema and a small coffee!

A brief stop on our tour, we were informed that Café Haití is also referred to as "coffee with…read morelegs" and that is more than apparent. The young ladies working here are the Chilean equivalent of the American Hooters chain. High heels and extremely short skirts. How's the coffee? That's not why the clientele of this place is entirely male.

I didn't have pesos to use the public banos (restroom) so we stopped in to this visually appealing…read morecoffee house for a quick cup of cortado and some water while we were in Santiago Chile. This cafe features a counter for perching and throwing back a caffeine jolt. Most patrons here drink their coffee fast and roll out. The cortado was good but not exceptional. It does come served in a beautiful glass and metal European style cup , which we did not experience because we asked for ours to go, a mistake. Note bien: the banos here consisted of three urinals attached to the wall in what appeared to be marked as a unisex bathroom and clearly was not. I ventured solo past the do not enter employees only door through a locker room for staff and a utility closet to find a sit down toilet that a female could use that was in a tiny closet-unmarked- in the back. In the spirit of adventure- and since we did not plan a trip to Chile but were redirected there courtesy of United Airlines and Copa Airlines- I consider this entire trip a bonus adventure- I accepted my bathroom exploration as par for the course. However, we also noted that all the staff here were young ladies wearing sheer black stockings, tight bodysuits and hyper abbreviated red velour miniskirts. Just saying. Perhaps this is the Chilean version of Hooters coffee style!

Disappointed. La primera vez fue buena experiencia. Buen café, limitada carta en desayunos pero ingredientes de buena calidad. Segunda vez nada de lo anterior. Not only do they make some great bread, but they also do pastries like brownies (oh, the chocolatey goodness!) as well as the best croissants in town (both the traditional and chocolate versions). Café Cocteau is a fairly new cafe, open just 2 years ago, and they are already killing it. Besides their delicious baked goods, they also serve lunch and "once" and have daily specials (like carrot curry!). For "once" or breakfast I recommend the Forestal, it comes with a choice of tea or coffee, bread with 2 toppings a natural fruit juice and dessert all for 5 mil. I recommend coming early if you would like to try their lunch as it is always packed - although starting at 12:30 you can call and reserve a table. They also have a full cafe with decaffeinated coffee and lactose free milk! What's best, all of their products are 100% natural (some are Organic) and all are delicious!
