I first called another appliance company, who charged me for a brand new motor that didn't fix the problem, then went silent on my texts. I found Nonstop Appliance Repair online and Victor got back to me right away. He came out, immediately spotted the actual issue (which the other company missed entirely), ordered the part, and finished the job as soon as it arrived. I highly recommend Nonstop Appliance Repair! I'll be sending all my clients his way too.

These appliances are about 8 years old, so should I replace them or invest in repairs and hope they last several more years? 3 months in, and so far all is well. I had an error message on my Samsung dryer today (a Saturday) and had no idea who to call, so I…read moresent out an SOS on Yelp. Vlad responded in less than five minutes and was even willing to come out and help me the same day. Before scheduling a service call, I asked him if he thought leaving the dryer unplugged for a while might help. Instead of trying to sell me a service visit, he was completely honest and said it actually might fix the problem. I left it unplugged for about 20 minutes, plugged it back in, and the error message disappeared. The dryer has been working perfectly since. I'm leaving a five-star review for several reasons. In this day and age, it often feels like customer service isn't what it used to be. The fact that someone took the time to respond to me on a Saturday--when he was likely home with his family--and genuinely tried to help without immediately charging me says a lot about his character and his business. I also want to mention that the diagnostic fee he quoted was very reasonable, which made me feel even more confident that I was dealing with an honest company. Thank you, Vlad! You've earned a customer for life, and I'll absolutely be recommending you and your company to my friends and family.

I would give him a 5 star review personally. Today I requested another service for the same issue. I asked if they could come today I received some text messages back and forth. I tried to call no answer, so I sent another text. The reply was asking me kindly to wait. I waited 2 hours only to be informed they could not come for 3 days. I wish they had said that sooner as now it's 1:30 and I am scrambling to get someone out today, I don't appreciate the wasting of my time as I let them know 2 hours ago I prefer to have service today as it is my day off. Not ok to say your repair man is off tomorrow so he can come Thursday after making me wait 2 hours for a reply. (apparently there is only 1 repair person) Value, I will have to let you know. If I have to fix the same issue twice I will be reporting back. Also the fact that they were just here Nov 26 it's March 4th I feel like a return service should be a priority.

I thought otherwise and, as I didn't want to have to replace the washer & dryer (most of the stacked units on the market today are built like crap), looked for someone else. After reading reviews here on yelp I called 1-Hour Appliance Repair. He arrived fast and on time, knew what he was talking about, earnestly wanted to help me and never tried to spend my money by pushing me to do anything i didn't want to. He also fixed my unfixable* dryer within 3 hours, which is now purring like a kitten -making me a very happy camper. I saw one or two reviews complaining what they were charged or quoted- as if 1HA would try to cheat them. Let me tell you something- anyone who complains about their price doesn't understand value. He may not be the cheapest repair person per hour, but he's more than worth it.
