One of the easiest 5/5 ratings I've ever given. Completely satisfied from beginning to end! We reserved Code Blue Photobooth as a last-minute add-on to our COVID-friendly backyard wedding. The entire team was extremely helpful and friendly, and was happy to answer questions, give recommendations, and provide updated quotes as we solidified our choices for the big day. At the end, we were extremely satisfied with the photo book, the prints, and the entire experience. My wife and I both work in healthcare, and they offered us an extremely generous discount, for which we were extremely grateful. To top it all off, at the end of the night when our reserved time was technically already over, and we had the last-minute rush to take more photos, the attendant didn't seem to pressure anyone, mentioned nothing about "Oh, we only have xx minutes left," or anything of the sort. I really wanted to give Code Blue Photobooth a good review, but I'm just really not so happy with them. I contacted code blue because they were on the vendor list for my wedding venue which was on a yacht in Newport Beach. The cost for the photobooth to be on my yacht was a bit pricier than the normal costs, but I thought since it was on the yacht and such, it was necessary to use them since they had experience with wedding on the yacht. (I wish there was more photo booths listed on the vendor list). Anyways, I was told that I'd get a proof of the design I wanted in advance for me to approve. I thought I'd get it at least a month or so prior, but I didn't hear from them, so I sent an email. Codeblue responded that their designer would contact me shortly. By the time their designer contacted me, it was probably about a week and half before my wedding. My husband and I did not like the initial design and so we asked for a simple design of our names and anchors on each side. We went back and forth getting these anchors to be placed the way I liked it. I just wanted the anchors to be vertical the same way as the letters in our names. the designer did not understand this and kept tilting the anchors in different directions! Literally, to the day of our wedding. I finally gave up and told my husband, we'll just get whatever they decide to use I guess. The designer finally sent me the anchors in the correct position, but it was literally the day of my wedding and it wasn't sent to their team in time to actually be put on the photo booth pictures, so now all my photo booths have the anchors sideways to how our names are. Although this annoyed me, I will have to say that the designer was very sick at the time and was doing this in the hospital. However, it just annoys me that the CodeBlue didn't have a back up person to get these designs done? Also, if they would have contacted me sooner than a week before my wedding, we probably could have figured this out. The next issue I had was the person who actually ran the booth was not very friendly. My parents and a few other guests complained asking me what was wrong with the guy at the photo booth... he doesn't seem very happy. He also told me that I couldn't take pictures with my friends during dinner. I'm the bride... and I'm paying for the booth ... so let me take pictures whenever I want!!! hahaha, he gave in but didn't seem so happy about it. My wedding was perfect, except for the photo booth. I wish I shopped around a little more before settling with code blue. read more

Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. My husband and I threw me a 50th birthday party at a local hotel. I tried using some vendor recommendation service but I was so afraid that I came to Yelp and found that a friend of mine had given them a 5 star review. I trust him so I made a note to call them. Then I found their business card in the folder that the hotel gave me as a recommended vendor. Done. I called and spoke to Kyle. He knew the catering director at the hotel, knew the exact room for my party and said that he would prepare a logo for my pictures if I sent him the invite. They arrived at the designated setup time, the booth was in a perfect location. Their decor for guests was clean and fresh (I've seen really junky ones in the past). My guests said it was the hit of the night and Mason the booth assistant was as charming as could be. I got a memory stick of all the photos when Mason left. I most definitely will be using this company again for another event at the same location in a few years. Their communication with me via email and phone was excellent and their price is reasonable! I met with David at a bridal show back in 2013, and booked him for my wedding for November of that year. At the booking, around 6 months prior to my wedding, I was told he would send me a proof of what the background might look like with our names and colors. At around 3 months before my wedding, I contacted David, asking where these proofs were. I was told that they don't usually do that until about 6 weeks before but if I wanted them he could send them to me now. I asked him to do that and still never received any. David called me a week before my wedding to finalize the arrangements for the wedding. A week! At this point, having not heard from him, or having him follow through on anything, I told him that we no longer required his services. It was overall a very disappointing experience. read more
