There is an extreeme lack of adult supervision and I am shocked at the reports my child brings home and the defense given by the limited staff. My child is an honor roll student with numerous academic, leadership, and citizenship awards. Yet in this environment he does not seem to be safe from bullying situations, not only verbal but physical. My child comes home with physical injuries more than once a week that the staff cant seem to control. They constantly brush it off as "child play", I am sorry but physical assault against my child multiple times per week IS NOT CHILD PLAY. If you raise your child with good morals DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS ORGANIZATION! It is run by delinquents, I have seen first hand. When I pick my child up early and they are in outdoor play there is NEVER an adult in sight! This is a flawed, unsafe environment for children and when you bring it to the attention of the head staff they get defensive rather than finding solutions. Having minors as councilors works when they are upstanding students that have earned the position. That is not what is present here. There are way too many teenagers( who have not earned, as privilege the position of being counselors) and way too few adults, it is chaos! sooner than later there is going to be a serious safety incident if it is not addressed.

The management and teachers may have changed. If you want to verify I am a real person just look at my other reviews. I'm also on FB and Linked in. My daughter stopped going to another well known Hollywood daycare due to sudden severe separation anxiety. During the month of February/March 2019 the kids in her class started making fun of her and rejecting her because of her suddenly acting out. I withdrew her because there were a couple of kids bullying her and although I brought it to the teacher's attention - it continued. With play therapy she got better but still exhibited serious emotional dysregulation and severe separation anxiety. I found Temple Beth El listed as a Free VPK provider during the summer of 2019. It is not only for Jewish children. We are Christian and share many of the values and stories in the Old Testament. It is a private Jewish school but there is a diverse student body. It was only supposed to be for summer camp (not covered by free vpk due to her age) but she ended up attending until the Broward county lockdown March 2020. I give full credit to TBE staff and teachers for her behavioral and social improvement. Play therapy is one thing but being at this incredible school was key. She stopped screaming so much and eventually did not even want to go home because of all the fun she was having! She is a totally different child now from the child she was last year. The school grounds are well taken care of. They have two playgrounds, one for each age group. They keep everything clean and organized. TBE has an impressive curriculum where they not only teach academics and extracurricular activities but educate children on manners and values that are missing in public schools. Every teacher my daughter encountered whether during her regular class, summer camp or after care, was incredibly loving and attentive. I volunteered there every time I could (first time mom and loved to help). I assure you: they are no different when someone is not watching. Go for a tour of the school and their beautiful temple. I signed her up for the free class and since my son (who is 11) happened to be with us they allowed both of them to participate. Even after just that hour the instructor confirmed that my daughter has a great mind for math and recommended she do summer camp and the after-school program. She loved the class. Even my son who struggles in math thought it was fun. She's currently doing the week at camp and we plan to do the class during the school year as well. The instructors and kids we met there were all great and it has been a really positive experience so far.

My real issue with Code Ninjas is that we froze our account due to predicted non-use, this stopped our payments from being removed from our account for 2 months. Then, without our knowledge/consent, they resumed taking payments. I contacted Code Ninjas and addressed this, asking for a refund and for them to discontinue taking payments, the manager said he would take care of it, thus thought it was a done deal. 8 months later I realized that payments were still being taken from my account and had cost me over $2k for services that I could not have possibly used since I had moved from the area and are no longer near a Code Ninjas. I would advise anyone considering them to take measures to keep your child off the internet via monitoring, and to pay per visit or monthly. Show less

Had I not called, I do not know when I would have been told. I also did not receive a refund until I had that conversation about camp. It is unprofessional to cancel camp and not provide any notice of the cancellation. The owner also spoke extremely rudely to me telling me that there was nothing she could do about the lack of communication "slipping through the cracks".
