However, I have been a patient there for a little over five years and have had four crowns installed in that time period. Each of the dentists and their assistants have been absolutely terrific. This month, I had Dr. Tracy Couillard as my primary dentist, and Sofia, as her assistant. They could not have been more caring or more professional. I am a difficult patient (hard for them to get my tooth numb) and they were very understanding (and quick once it was numbed!) It is now two days after the installation of permanent crown and I have no discomfort whatsoever. I just read a couple of negative reviews, and I can tell you that I never experienced anything but pleasant and professional care from this practice, including the extraordinary front desk staff (Carolina, Barbara and others). So it truly is Gentle Dentistry and I would highly recommend Dr. Couillard to any new patient.

That was the only reason I switched dentists. The second I got there, they rushed me into X-rays before even verifying what my insurance covered. AFTER the X-rays were done, suddenly I was told insurance wouldn't fully cover them and I would owe money out of pocket. Then they tried the classic "we can discount it" line. Maybe verify insurance BEFORE performing services? Nobody properly introduced themselves, and within minutes some guy walks in and immediately tells me I need a "deep cleaning." Funny considering I regularly see both a dentist and orthodontist and have never once been told that. This place feels more like a sales office than a dental office. Very misleading, very pushy, and extremely unprofessional. Be VERY careful before agreeing to anything here and make sure they verify every single thing with your insurance beforehand.

Three weeks after the procedure, I was in severe pain because part of the nerve had apparently been left behind. When I returned, I was told to wait for it to die on its own and I was charged over $200 to be told they didnt do thier job correctly. Now, one year later, I have an infection in the same tooth because the root canal was apparently not cleaned all the way to the bottom. I now need additional treatment and crown reconstruction. This office has cost me a tremendous amount of time, pain, and money. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend going literally anywhere else. From what I can gather many other friends and colleagues who have gone here have shared a bad experience.
