Dr Mamo and the team are amazing! I won't go to any other dentist even if they take my insurance. Well worth the extra cost to feel confident in the staff. I've been dreading going to the dentist because I've had a lot of bad experiences but no longer! So happy I found them! read more

Thank you so much to Dr. Mamo, Mila, and Robin! They were able to get me in right away for a tooth repair after I chipped my tooth. Dr. Mamo is the best dentist I've ever had. Not only is he highly skilled, but he's also one of the friendliest and most genuine people I've met in my life, along with his staff. Dr. Mamo and Mila not only restored my smile, but also my confidence! read more

We have been going to Friendly Dental for all our exams, cleanings, fillings and for an extraction. They have always done a thorough job and always polite and courteous. A convenient location at the front of Coconut Point Mall with ample parking. A great dental practice. read more

They have zero availability for a cleaning. They told me to find another dentist because the hygienist are booked through November And this was in April! read more

They really care about you. I had an appt to get my tooth extracted and after talking more with the assistant I switched to root canal (which was completely painless) and crown. Dr. Mamo is great. They never charged me for cancelling the extraction appt. Everyone is so friendly and kind. My hygienist Taryn does a fabulous job. Love this practice. read more

I visited Dr Mamo in search of a second opinion regarding a tooth, that I was advised needed to be rebuilt or extracted. He completely agreed with the original diagnosis but he took additional time to describe my options, including cost. I ended up having the tooth extracted and I have to say, it was a piece of cake. On the day of extraction, Dr Mamo let me know what would be happening every step of the way and his technician clearly outlined my after care verbally and on paper. I now have a new dentist in Dr. Mamo and will be returning for a cleaning next month. read more

We have just moved to Florida and it is so stressful finding new doctors. I called and Robin was so sweet and when my husband and I arrived for our appointments everyone was just as great. They have a massage chair and I watched videos and it was actually relaxing. The dentist did my initial cleaning which apparently what he does so he can spend one on one time with new patients. They give you a goody bag with dental items when you leave. The dental assistant was super sweet, I loved it and even my husband who hates going to the dentist loved it too. Such a change from the chains like Aspen Dental who must have all their employees on full commission. Our new dentist for sure..... read more

So grateful to have found Dr. Mamo and his wonderful staff. From my first phone call with Robin I felt welcome and comfortable about choosing this practice for my long overdue dental work. Many thanks to everyone who has helped to provide my care. Dr. Mamo, you are amazing! I hardly felt a thing while you extracted not one, but three of my teeth!! read more

Absolutely love love love my dentist! Dr. Mammo and his staff Mila were very comforting when I went in for my root canal. Literally walked out of there thinking that wasn't bad at all. After a horrible experience many years ago I had avoided the dentist out of fear and anxiety. Broke a tooth and contacted The Friendly Dental office and explained my fear and anxiety - after assuring me that Dr Mamo does not pass judgment (and he doesnt) and that he and the entire staff provide care and compassion ) and they do. He and his team put me at ease immediately and it's hard to explain all the little touches to make sure I was comfortable and engaged during my root canal. One other plus for me - he treats his staff as trusted colleagues and is so kind and appreciative for their support. Feeling blessed to have sound Dr. Mamo and his entire team and am relieved to have found my dentist -beyond this emergency! read more

Generally I like the staff and Dr. Mamo. Feel they are very knowledgeable and strive to make sure that you are comfortable during your dental work visits. Was not so pleased with my last scheduled cleaning which was covered by my insurance. Upon arrival, my dental technician simply said " let's go get a panoramic X-ray" and I did get the panoramic X-ray. They also took the standard X-rays before completing the cleaning. At checkout I was charged $70 for the panoramic X-ray (insurance covered remainder of the visit). I was not informed of the additional cost of this X-ray nor was I given the option to forgo the purchase. I just felt like it was an unnecessary expense and that I should have been made aware of the $70 charge for the service. read more

Dr Mamo is stellar. A great person as well as a talented dentist! His offices are truly an asset to the community

Honest, car, patient, wonderful staff, no upselling, just the best dental experience I have had here. New from Ohio.

What can I say about Dr. Aaron Mamo... I just Love him. I been to his office several years back and recently returned because of a tooth that I might possibly need a root canal... long story short, he is gentle, patient, understanding, kind and reasonable. I recommend him over and over. His staff is just as kind, patient and understanding to the fears one has when it comes to their teeth and mouth. Thank you for relieving my aches and pains that I dealt with for quite some time due to my fears. I am eating mash potatoes and cream peas to heal and not get any foods in the area where my tooth was extracted. Blessings of Peace read more

For years and years I have struggled to find a dental office I can trust. To say the least, I have had some very terrible experiences in the past. Without a doubt, Dr Mamo is truly trustworthy, brilliant, kind, honest and excellent in his skills. The hygienists are beyond knowledgeable. They are thorough and truly care. Throughout the cleaning, they take the time to educate in a way that is kind, yet informative. After years going to friendly dental, they have never attempted to pressure or push unnecessary procedures or work. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, I have felt genuinely cared for by all their employees. And lastly, being a medical professional myself, I can say with confidence that this practice never settles for anything less than excellent patient care. Thank you friendly dental for taking the very best care of my family. read more

Dr Mamo is amazing. He is so good and so caring. I will never go to another dentist. He is the best.

Consultation for my cavities' did not include any pressure for root canals and they let me know all my options. The assistants were so sweet and really really made me comfortable but I was most impressed with the Dentists mastery and confidence in pulling my tooth. He did a great job and I want to thank him. Im not sure who picked the staff but they are all PERFECT for their position. Did not encounter one soul who was not extremely friendly. A very happy place and will trust them for any follow up dental care. Highly rated and respected. Thank all of you. Xoxo Friendly Dental: Yaaasss read more

I can't say enough good about this office!! They got me in quickly for an emergency appointment even though I wasn't a patient previously. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, yet professional. Everything was explained clearly and I feel the prices were very fair!! Thanks Robin, Valerie and Dr Mamo!! read more

I have been going to "Friendly Dental" for about 10 years. It was great for a long time . . . but now in the new location with different people not so much. I went today for a cleaning and the hygienist started out with things I needed to get besides the cleaning. When I said I only wanted the cleaning she was rude and said I had to get a fluoride treatment, and a measurement of my gum recession and if I didn't she could lose her license for not doing these things. I told her this was my last time coming there because they decided not to take my insurance anymore. What's the point of checking my gum measurement if you can't compare them at the next visit? When I told her that my usual hygienist Jackie (love Jackie) didn't make me get those things she said "Jackie wasn't doing her job correctly". Wow, saying that an employee of the company she works for doesn't do her job as she should to a patient? Anyway I got up and left without getting my cleaning. I am not a young man so some of these things seem unnecessary since I have never had a cavity in my life. Friendly Dental employees need to go outside to the front of the building, look up and read the name of the place . . . maybe the service will improve? read more

Whenever a needle was required for a procedure I never felt it or any sharp pain. Dr. Mamo is truly a gentle dentist. When my teeth are cleaned the hygienist is gentle but thorough. I'm always called as a reminder for my appointments & appreciate them for my dental care. read more

No bs, this was the BEST dental experience I've ever had. The receptionist and the hygienists were an absolute pleasure, then they asked me if I wanted a massage. I was like, are you serious? As I'm enjoying my massage this person who looks like a Brooklyn hipster walks into the room and introduces himself as Dr. Mamo. I couldn't believe this cool looking guy was a dentist... and a damn good one at that. It was the most gentle and amazing experience I've ever had. They live up to their name and the service was A+. I can't believe I lucked up with insurance that covers such great treatment. I recommended to all my coworkers. read more

Went in in pain and came out with an exceptional experience. Dr. Mamo is wonderful. Very caring, patient and if you have been to a dentist enough times, you can just feel very confident hands, demeanor and above all, results. The staff is terrific, and reflective of a very carefully selected staff and well run, organized practice. Would definitely recommend Dr. Mamo. read more

Dr. Mamo and his staff do a wonderful job from routine cleanings to every day dental work. Recently went through an easy and painless root canal not knowing what to expect with one, and the whole experience turned out great! I have had horrible experiences with 12 dentists I have been treated by in the Estero/Bonita area. I am so happy to have found my 'lucky #13th' dentist - Dr. Mamo with Friendly Dental. Everyone in their practice is so pleasant, competent and, yes, FRIENDLY! Unlike the previous 12 dentists, Dr. Mamo only recommends dental procedures that are absolutely necessary - I trust and am so impressed with everyone in his office! read more

I've tried a few dentist offices before and have never been so satisfied! Instead of getting grilled on flossing more like most places (even though I try to take great care of my teeth) I was complimented on how well my teeth look. Friendly is an excellence word to describe everyone. Never bragged about a dental visit until now. read more

Friendly dental did a great job cleaning my teeth, they looked fantastic when I left!! They also did X-rays of my teeth and jaw, Fluoride, polish, floss, and gum/bone depth gauging! Some things that made this visit even better were the massage option in the chair and the big screen tv to keep me occupied while the team was working. The nurse was super friendly, the dentist did great work, and the hygienist was very professional and nice!! They gave me some great options for future work that I need done. I will certainly be scheduling another appointment! read more

My wife and I stopped our Dental insurance and decided to find a dentist with fair charges and just pay for services rendered. We stopped by Friendly Dental and found that they have a plan for folks just like us. It will provide exams, cleanings and xrays for about 1/2 the price of the insurance we were paying before for a very basic group rate insurance plan. So financially it is a good deal. I checked other dentists and while they might have a drastically reduced introductory rate, you will pay much more later. We went today and came away even more excited that we had made the right decision. First you would expect everyone to be friendly if they call themselves Friendly Dental, and they were. Next, their dental chairs are new, with a nice plush feel and they have vibrating massagers in the chairs which help you relax. You can set them to your desired level. They have large television displays in the rooms that played soft music and had pictures of landscapes and sea animals and other cool looking stuff - again another way of helping you relax and feel comfortable. They did the xrays, the exam and the cleaning using all the tools we have been accustomed to. The dentist, Dr Mamo, answered my questions and did not seem in a hurry. Their hygiene practices looked to be very good and they offered a warm towel after to wash your face. They provided a gift bag with lip balm, toothpaste, toothbrush, a tumbler with their name on it and floss. The only thing missing was candy. lol. Overall, a great business that you should consider. read more

This was my first visit to Friendly Dental. I was very impressed. I have to say that this was the best dental visit I have had in my life (and I'm not young). When I sat in the dental chair, I was asked if I would like the massage feature turned on. Heck yeah! Then Dr. Mamo actually cleaned my teeth. That was another first for me. He was very gentle. The staff was friendly and efficient. read more
