I cannot for the life of understand a negative review of this shop. I went to Cocoa without an appointment and was greeted with nothing but helpfulness and kindness and I certainly don't look like I have money to burn. My wedding (Sept 2010) had to be arranged within 4 weeks due to an immediate family members poor health and they performed absolute wonders for me. The manageress Ella accepted my calls whilst abroad on holiday and the lovely Cara was unfailing in her search for the perfect accessories to my dress despite my silly superstitions of no pearls! I felt always like I was a princess and that I was with caring friends. They helped me with absolutely everything and soothed all my concerns or worries, dress related or not (!) making the dress simply the most enjoyable and the easiest part of all my wedding shopping.
I truly think this shop is a complete hidden treasure, the beautiful window displays show only a fraction of the magnificence within. I can only urge people to visit it for themselves to see, if you don't you're simply missing out. Couture dresses might not be an option for everyone, but my completely unique Cocoa dress was not more than the other off the rack shop bought ones I was looking at elsewhere, and I wouldnt have swapped my experience with them for anything. They say you know the right dress when you see it - but you also know the right shop. And after being at Cocoa I knew no other shop would do.
