My friends and I went to Cocoa Beach this past weekend for a little get away. The weather wasn't great so we decided to get massages. We ended up at this spa which was close to where we were staying. I decided to get the Lava Shell Massage and Reflexology. LYNDA WAS AMAZING!!! I couldn't be happier. Their prices for the services they offer can't be beat. We having been vacationing in Cocoa beach for 10 years, and just discovered this Spa. Staff is friendly and the set up is cozy. Prices are good. My aunt and I tried the "Copper Pot" pedicure. Overall, we were disappointed. The chairs were uncomfortable and did not recline or adjust for a person's size. So...a tall person's feet may touch the bottom, but a short person's are left hanging. I guess we are used to the typical motorized tub with jets of swirling water to clean your feet. This is not the case with the copper pot - just still water. I understand it is meant to have medicinal healing properties, but I have not found research backing this theory up. One benefit is that they are easier to clean, so there is less risk of contamination from the prior client. They may want to offer both options for clients. My daughter had a haircut and color. The stylist was very kind and attentive, but the quality was poor. I waited several months to rate this service in order to see how it grew out and the color settled in, as I am not a fan of impulsive ratings. They did bring her back the next day to repair the color, but then attempted to charge us again for the "supplies." Ultimately, they did agreed to not double charge us. I give them credit for standing by their work and attempting to repair it. Anyone business can have an "off" day, but how the owners stand by their product says a lot. read more

I got married on a Carnival Cruise that left out of the nearby port last year in September. I made the appointment for hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party (5 girls total). We had the place to ourselves and our own dressing rooms. We each had a stylist, so there was no waiting for each girl to be done. The salon girls were amazing! Not only did they cater to everything we needed, including a super early appointment since we had to be on the ship by 10am, we loved the hair stylists and the makeup artist. My girlfriend and I arrived in Port Canaveral via cruise ship. We disembarked, looked around and said where the hell are we! Port Canaveral is not a tourist town. So while trying ti kill time until we left port we googled, yelped, and asked random strangers what should we do? Then we found Cocoa beach Spa. The exterior looks like a small charming house, which it probably was until it was turned into a magnificent spa. We've been to day spas all over, some large, some small some expensive, some cheap. Cocoa Beach spa was excellent from the moment we entered. We we promptly greeted and offered refreshing beverages and snacks. We opted for a couples massage. They used aromatherapy in their practice and it made the massage even better. I got a Swedish massage and my girlfriend a deep tissue. By the end of the session my girlfriend feel asleep on the table. She was literally snoring, I thought to her massage therapist is doing a great job. The prices are very reasonable and if you are coming from a cruise ship I highly advise to to skip exploring Port Canaveral, book a spa day here and enjoy your vacation. read more

My boyfriend gave me a gift certificate for a spa day that included massage, back scrub, facial, mani and pedi. There was some difficulty with the booking process and I didn't get the back scrub but I was compensated for it. I really didn't mind because the rest of the services were great. Best massage and facial I have had in a long time. It is nicely decorated- light and bright with a relaxing atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and have some monthly specials you can sign up for via email. Staff are very friendly and will definitely come here from now on. Would like to see their online appointment system updated. It didn't work for me at all and I had to call and make an appointment. It would be nice to be able to make a real-time appointment pick your service, staff member, date and time- and immediately get a confirmation. read more

I was excited to get a pedicure today. After getting one done three weeks ago while visit in Texas was very disappointed. Needless to say I was disappointed how rushed by Blynn the whole time she was doing my manicure. I was wearing navy blue polish when I arrived and I asked if she could make sure to get off before painting my nails a lighter color. She replied, I will try. Not expecting her to respond in this manner. My nails weren't painted close to the cuticle or the edges. An still see my dark blue nail polish on the edges of my nails. She also pretty much blew me off when I asked if she could push back my cuticles and trim them. I truly only loved my nail color. Sad, but true read more

We were on the Norwegian Gem that was rerouted due to a hurricane. That said we had now plans for where we were now going. My husband and I always get massages on vacation and was very disappointed that the ship was charging $139 per person for a 50 minute Swedish massage! While we were sitting on the beach at Coco Beach I got out the phone and googled for spas new by. Coco Beach Spa came up and the few reviews were found looked good so we called and booked a 60 couples massage (about $149, a little bit more than 1/2 the ship was charging). I have to admit we were a bit nervous just pick a place we found on the Internet especially when they said on the phone that we could have a glass of wine while we wait (I have never hear of alcohol in a spa) and when we showed up and the place was a house converted into a spa. However the place was AMAZING!!! (and we are from New York so I am a bit of a spa snob). They offered us a glass of wine, tea or coffee when we walked in. Having come right off the beach being able to shower was a huge plus. The massages where the most relaxing massages my husband and I have ever had. Even when we were done they were very helpful in calling us a cab to get us back to the boat. I would recommend this spa for any one going to coco beach, especially those coming from any of the ships. Don't arrange for any coco beach transportation with the boat. There will be a AAA taxi van outside the port and they charge $5 per person ($10 per person round trip and our boat was charging $17). They take your right to the beach (15 minutes away) were there is a 7-11 (you can buy and bring alcohol on the beach). There is a designated pick up spot to catch the van to get back to the boat. Best part of all this is that the spa is about a mile away from this drop off spot and you can walk from the beach to the spa. read more

This was fantastic. Rhezah took great care of my mom, even though she has not had a pedicure in 20 years (think dumb and dumber). She was sweet, very nice, and patient and made my mom feel like a queen. Mom came out of it ooohing and ahhing. Nice atmosphere, great people, the only downside is the handicap spot is so small you cannot get from the car to the place, but everything else was spectacular. read more

Visited Cocoa Beach Spa two times this week with my mother-in-law. Both times the services were spot on. My mother-in-law had her hair colored and cut by Ashley. I had a gel French manicure also done by Ashley. Afterwards we both decided to book cooper pot pedicures for the very next day!! Great results! Very relaxing. When I arrived I sat for 10 minutes finally someone asked what I was there for and I explained I had a color appointment with there stylist and they told me she quit and they had no one else available to color my hair. I was looking for a place for hair and makeup before having professional photos done and I turned to yelp. The reveiws seems good so I called and booked. On a whim, after looking at their site I added a 90 minute massage. The massage was good, almost great! I did the shell massage which was different, like a hot rock but better. The hair and makeup was another story. It was the worst blowdry I had every had the the makeup was NOT photo quality. I saw the pictures from my shoot and wanted to cry. Professional makeup from here was not professional, it was on the scale of having your makeup done at the mall, not having a professional enhance you. There was no brightening, contouring or hightlighting done and the foundation/coverage work was sub-par. The blowdry she tried to "overstyle" and when I said I just wanted a simple blowdry she tried correcting it but I just ended up with frayed ends. I would not recoomend this for wedding makeup. read more

The hubby and I got pedicures after a stroll on Cocoa Beach. Tried this place because of great Yelp reviews. We were very appreciative that they were able to take us right away as walk-ins. Other people were there getting facials and massages and seemed to really enjoy them. While the staff was amazingly nice and sweet, the pedicures were just okay. They do them in big copper pots. We are used to getting really strong pedicures that scrape off a lot of dead skin and clean the nail area, and this was just a brief, soft brush that seemed designed to soothe rather than exfoliate. Also, pedicures usually last me MONTHS, but the polish on one of my big toes came off in one big piece after only a day and a half! And I have been VERY gentle on my feet so I don't know why - I've never had that happen before. I will have to wait and see how long the rest of it lasts. But they pamper you with wine, sweet treats, neck pillows, and friendly conversation, so I have to say it was one of the most relaxing pedicures I've ever had. Even if it doesn't last, I have good memories. But I wouldn't go back. read more

I am here visiting my brother, but my nails did need a new manicure. I checked YELP, and the reviews for this place made my choice easy. I did not make an appointment, but was a walk in, around 10:30. I only had to wait about 15 minutes and Cassandra came out and introduced herself....she was excellent. Best manicure I have had in a long time. She buffed my nails because they seemed to be a bit dried out, she made them shine. Also got a lemon scrub with a wax covering on my hands...this was included with my cost. I don't know if this is always the case, but it was today. My hands feel so smooth! She also gave me suggestions regarding the dryness in my nails. I couldn't make up my mind on color, so we tried 3 different colors to see which ones I would like, and I have to say....my nails look great! Color, shape--excellent job. Cocoa Beach Spa is just wonderful!! My husband and I have been to the spa many times. We drive an hour from Orlando because we get top-notch service (from massages to manicures/pedicures) during every visit. Everything is done in a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. The owners and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. A major bonus for me is that the spa only uses and sells healthy products with natural fragrances, and my allergies do not flare up while there. We highly recommend this spa!! read more

Its a cute spa. Staff was nice. My daughter and I and sister all had spray tans before our cruise. I have had many of them before. My sister went first and when she came out she looked exactly the same. Then my daughter too. I questioned the lady and she assured me it would set in over night and I would be dark. I did get darker over night but I was still white! Everyone traveling with us said we wasted our $ we looked no different. It was very disappointing. And it cost double what I pay in Tampa for a Caribbean glow that lasts a week. Skip the tan there. read more
