Further, Dr. Ganpath told me not to take Prolia, which is necessary to prevent bone weakening from the chemo pill I take every day to keep my breast cancer from coming back. She said it caused liver damage. My hip has been starting to hurt (I am about a year out from my last Prolia shot), and I looked it up. She was totally wrong. Here is the citation, which I tried to share on the portal, but oh, guess what!?!? You CANNOT SEND A MESSAGE VIA THE PORTAL! You can write one, but it doesn't go anywhere. I brought this to Dr. Ganpath's husband's attention about a year ago, since he is in charge of that part of the practice (he is not a medical person), and he has not fixed it yet. The nurse-line provided by my insurance told me to visit an urgent care clinic based on my symptoms. I was the opposite of thrilled, but I went anyway. I went about an hour before this place closed, and the doctor was able to see me within a few minutes of me filling out all the paperwork.
