Nothing special or outstanding at this place. It wasn't horrible so I gave it 2 stars. The employees were not friendly or helpful when I was trying to make a decision because I was clearly struggling a bit. I got a jasmine pearl tea. The tea part was good, I could actually taste tea, some other places just tasted sweet. I got it at 50% sugar and it was still very sweet, I would go down to 25% next time. I'm wondering now if they even put less sugar in it lol! The boba was not the best, it was hard in the middle which I hate, I drank the tea and left the boba and was not very happy that I paid that much for a drink. They may not have topped the Coco shops on Sydney, Australia where I'm from, but was certainly the best of the handful of boba shops we tried in the L.I. area. They get the brew and sweetness consistent at 30%, and are differentl apparently open right up to when they say they're open till. I do wish their boba was a little less firm, but at least theirs doesn't fall start like some others do. Oh and an extra shutout for handling (eventually) our rather unusual special request recently! This CoCo is always a little disappointing. They always have multiple people on, but something is not right about their work flow because they can never churn out drinks fast enough and there is a wait no matter when you go. The bubbles are undercooked and the flavor of the tea is usually bland. They're not able to provide flavors that are on their own menus. There's little option for bubble tea around the area. The store is kept pretty clean, but the seating situation is also not ideal. read more

Just opened a few days ago so word isn't really out yet. Still super clean and friendly staff and they make the drinks quick. The real test will be when there's a crowd to see how quick they can turn these drinks out. Drinks taste good, what'd you expect from bubble tea or any coco tea. Prices are on the steep side compared to queens or the city, but I'm not surprised. Slightly pricier than Kung Fu Tea, but they offer a different selection, so it's really based on what kind of drink you're looking for. Came here for the first time today with my wife on a search for some boba in the desolate town that is huntington station... we found this place on Yelp and saw that it was about a 15 minute drive for us so we decided to make the trip. When we arrived we were disappointed to find that they had somehow run out of boba (or bubbles? as some places seem to call it? tapioca? whatever... we live in LA now so we're used to calling it boba). When I asked the kind worker how long it would take for more to be ready he said "about 45 minutes!" which was shocking to me. Anyway, my wife got the remaining boba (which was enough for one cup with her hojicha tea) and did say that it tasted good so there's that. I was just disappointed and surprised that they didn't have enough prepared to go around. As for myself, I got the classic milk tea with regular sweetness and regular ice and despite not having boba in it... it tasted good. Pretty much what you'd expect from a milk tea from one of these places. So.. 2 stars off for not having boba ready on what was surely a slow day (we were the only ones in there at the time). Love! If you've never had bubble tea please go try! This is my first time having bubble tea so I don't have anything to compare it to but I love this place! The young guy at the couNter was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! I told him I had never tried bubble tea before and he gave me a tiny sample cup of the tapioca pearls which are the little black balls that go in the tea. They taste kind of like French toast to me! Once I figured out my tea he explained the sweetness and ice ratios that you can adjust, I got 50% sweet and regular ice and it was perfect! If you have an aversion to weird textures you may not like it but you can also get the teas without the tapioca pearls. Only complaint is it a little pricy, $5+ for a large but it's pretty much Starbucks prices right? Will be back to try more flavors! read more

Decent bubble tea. Best so far outside of Taiwan. We've been to their Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei stores. The quality is consistent and really like their Taiwanese options on sugar and ice % choices. Their tea in the basic bubble tea drink doesn't taste watered down after the ice melted. I usually order 50% sugar and 50% ice on cooler days. One star off for service. The two girls there are over worked. read more

I LOVE COCO!! As an avid bbt drinker, Coco is one of the superior bubble tea chains we have in NYC. It's consistent, it's refreshing, and it's not $6 for a medium size. Imagine the freakout I had when I heard Coco was opening up 5 minutes away from my house. There is definitely a higher being in this world, cuz it answered my prayers. I don't have to wait till I trek to Flushing to have Coco. Since the location is in the middle of a pretty busy street, I suggest parking in the back lot that's facing the Syosset train station. Way easier than trying to parallel park in front of the store. The staff are always really cheery and patient, which is surprisingly nice since bubble tea staff generally in Flushing seem to be borderline annoyed at you. I really hope this location does well -- Long Island traffic is definitely not the same as Flushing traffic. I needs my Coco!! read more

The best tea in the area! I live in near Syosset and I can't tell you how many times I've tried to find a good bubble tea place, or at least an authentic one. The Coco chain can be found all over NYC and western LI, so it's pretty well known. As for this location, it's pretty great. The service is terrific and the tea is good, but excellent compared to the other bubble tea joints near this location. If you're looking for a nice bubble tea place in this area, Coco is the best you can do. My favorite drink here is the 2 Ladies Bubble Tea (toppings are boba and pudding) with 50% sugar and no ice (they don't charge for no ice). Great place overall and 100% worth checking out. read more

My kids and I love coming here to get our favorite drinks! Their Lava Pearl Latte is sooo good (one of the best I have had on LI) and my kids always love Mango Yakult with jelly which is very refreshing and delicious. The reason why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the parking. I often have trouble finding a parking spot at the back of the restaurant or on the busy road near the entrance - kind of hard to meet up with friends and have a drink here when we all need to find parking spaces. read more

It's great to see Coco back up and running again. Businesses may operate differently now but they're doing their best to adjust to COVID-19. At the entrance, you will see a sign that says no more than 3 people can be inside the shop. Inside the shop there are also round stickers on the floor marking where you should stand for social distancing. All of the employees wore masks and there is a tall clear plastic divider at the cashier. They also put tables around the counter to make sure you do not stand too close. I ordered Bubble Gaga (30% sugar and less ice) and Brown Sugar Pearl Latte (Sugar is fixed). Both drinks were absolutely delicious and the pearls were the right amount of chewy. So I went there and ordered the milk tea and the bubbles were so hard. It wasn't a bubble i though I was trying to chew it felt like I was eating a rock. Absolutely love this shop, honestly the people that work here are what makes it five stars and in my opinion, they all deserve a raise. I always see them recommending things to new customers or helping people who aren't familiar with the menu. I order a bunch of green teas all at once to supply my mom and I for the week since we drink them everyday (passion fruit green tea with no sugar is super delicious and refreshing!) and they are always so kind and quick with the order. It's a big order so I'm sure it can be a lot to get that all done but they're always so nice about it and even have given us a free tea which made my day! So there isn't a bubble tea place close to Huntington, and this seem like the close place - 20 min drive - but decided to try it. With the pandemic going on, they automatically upgraded your drinks to large, free of charge, which was nice! Teas were made to order and they were good!! I would've given 5 stars, but for the fact that they were so understaffed, two people taking counter orders and phone orders, and there was no organization.
