I entered the front and had to navigate to the back for shoes. The salesperson, if I can use the term so boldly, was behind the counter and ignored me. I looked at styles available and found a couple I liked. I approached her and asked her to measure my feet. She told me the store does not own the tools to measure feet and that only the manager knew how. She offered to write down the styles and size I thought I need and have the manager order me a few pairs in various sizes for me to make a selection. I was told the manager wouldn't be in until Tuesday (this was Saturday) and that it would probably take a week for the shoes to come in. She took my name and number. When I didn't hear back in two weeks, I called the store and talked to the manager. She did not deny the salesgirl's assertion that they did not have a measuring tool, but said that she should have been able to tell what size to order by using different sizes available for an estimate. She stated that the salesperson needed better training. However, the brand I had selected had just bought by another company and they were having trouble ordering and receiving product. Was I still interested? Of course, I was and she promised to contact me as soon as the shoes were available and/or in. I am still waiting to hear back from them! I have since ordered $500 worth of shoes from other retailers. I am not holding my breath, but I am amazed that a store with such terrible customer service can stay in business. How desperate is Marshall for shoes?

Do business with at your own risk. Unless you have something legally binding with them your really in for a ride, and good luck trying to communicate with the extremely rude people I dealt with. What else is there except I had to actually report my card stolen to keep them from screwing up my account, and the fact that they knew their was problems and still tried chargeing my card without consulting me in the first place.

I was waited on promptly and they offered to arrange the flowers. They have available in anyway that I wanted. So this means that their flower selection is not gonna be as big as a Hy-Vee. But what was there was very tasteful and I managed to get a tiny little vase with some roses in it for $10. I didn't think that was possible anymore. I will definitely go back again. I stopped in late this afternoon to get some flowers for an event at my daughter's college here in town.
