Meh. The only reason I'd ever go to a bar like Cocktrail is if I wanted a drink and there's nowhere else. Luckily for them, there is nowhere else nearby. Let's go over the pros and cons, Pros: - They serve alcohol in a bar setting - They have decent outdoor seating Cons: - The bar is called Cock Trail - It's in a railway station - It's lame and blingy - I'm not into the music that they play - It's not cheap - The cocktail menu is so vast that you know they don't know how to make every cocktail properly read more

The cocktrail is a nice cocktail bar inside the Mundsburg U-Bahn Station. Special drinks are for example the Abstellgleis (holding siding), but you will get a lot of other cocktails as well. On the weekends it might get crowded quickly. In the summer it is possible to sit outside. read more

The Coktrail Bar in Mundsburg ( to be more exactelly; its inside the station building of the U-Bahn Munsdburg) is quite nice for an after-work-drink or even a saturday night. The prices are as usual 7-12 Euros and teh quality is reaaaaaallly good!! Because of the massive cocktail menu it is quite hard to decide which one to choseThe Coctrail Bar includes are smoking lounge outside as well, but no worriesthey ve got heaters!!! So: Try and enjoy the cocktrail bar as soon as possible..!! read more

I found this place to be lacking and not all that good. The cocktails were mediocre, the music was way too loud to even hold a normal conversation and the bartenders were annoying at best. If in the area and locking for a quick drink, an ok place to stop in but do you want to spend extensive time here? Not in my opinion. Further, there's a movie theater across the street plus the station the place is in so it seems lots of people pass through quickly. read more

Since there was no other bar to be found anywhere near, we decided to go for a drink here. The barkeepers were extremely rude for no apparent reason - maybe we didn't fit into their normal customer crowd. I wouldn't consider myself poor looking, but apparently too poor for them. Most certainly not going there again. Let's not forget about the terrible choice of a name and the high prices. read more

First night in Hamburg and my friend recommended this place, it's easy to access since its next to the metro station, they have very good cocktails, the bartenders are hot and the environment is nice. read more

Die Bar wird durch Ihre ersten Pächter und heutigen Inhaber Merih Kahveciolgu und Ilker Baris (als Studenten in der CIU Bar von Marc Ciunis ausgebildet) geführt.

Le Lion is the cradle of the gin basil smash (I had never heard of it until I came here but it seems to be a Hamburg thing). You do pay a premium for the drink but it's the original and it's also a good drink. In conclusion: Come early to get inside for the full speakeasy experience. Come late and understand if you have to sit outside. Don't miss the gin basil smash; they invented it.

What I love is the crowd is a myriad of ages, I swear there was a 90-something-year-old at the bar this visit, which only adds to the character. The bar men are dressed to kill, suspenders and all, and the waiters don't miss a step. The drink menu may take you half the night to read through, but it strings the conversation around the world as you discover a glass of whiskey from such and such island can actually cost that much. Yes, prices are high, but you will leave satisfied. I suggest: try a NEW drink. You can get your good'ol gin*n tonic elsewhere.

Eigentlich war das Cocktrail meine Stamm-Cocktail-Bar, gerade um nach einem anstrengenden Tag mit Freundinnen eine Runde zu Klönen - bis gestern. Pünktlich um 19 Uhr betrete ich die Bar. Meiner Frage, ob irgendein Tisch reserviert sei wird verneint, also wähle ich den bequemsten Platz in der Ecke. Freundinnen kommen und wir schlürfen lecker Cocktails. Nach einer Stunde, mittlerweile ist der Laden brechendvoll, stellt der Kellner mit dem französischen Touch kommentarlos ein Reservierungsschild auf unseren Tisch. Auf meine Nachfrage, was dass nun für uns heißt kommentiert er nur, dass er davon ausgeht, dass wir in einer Stunde eh weg sind - wirklich sehr nett... Er bietet uns aber als Entschädigung einen Cocktail an, soweit so gut. Als dann die Herren, die den Tisch ja nun reserviert haben, kommen, sollen wir weichen, nur gibt es keinen anderen Platz. Und vom kostenlosen Cocktail ist plötzlich auch keine Rede mehr, es ginge nur ein kurzer, mehr darf er nicht... Kundenbindung sieht anders aus. Im Folgenden haben wir uns dann freiwillig umgesetzt als es eine Möglichkeit gab. Als Dank wurden wir komplett ignoriert. Irgendwann wurde kommentarlos ein Kurzer hingestellt, nicht mal gefragt welchen wir denn wollen. Richtig schlimm wurde es dann beim Bezahlen. Auf meine Anmerkung, dass der Service heute ja nicht so toll sein, wurde der Kellner in Schutz genommen, kein Angebot einer Gutmachung oder irgendetwas -traurig. Klar, der Laden brummt, aber unter Marketinggesichtspunkten war der Abend eine Katastrophe Auf jeden Fall hat das Cocktrail jetzt einen Stammkunden weniger zzgl. meiner Freundinnen. read more

Liebe Cocktailgeniesser, kann den Beitrag von Jorma 13 nur bestätigen!!!! "Auf Beschwerden wird leider herablassend und besserwisserisch reagiert. Laut Kellner habe man keine Ahnung wie der jeweilige Drink schmecken muss. Außerdem wurden wir danach nur noch sehr missmutig und unmotiviert bedient. Größe und guter Service sehen anders aus." Ich habe freundlich angemerkt, dass ich einen Cocktail nicht gelungen finde... der Kellner hat das zum Anlass genommen, meine Bemerkung zu kritisieren und mehrere Male darauf rumzureiten, wie " ich sollte doch auch das Kleingedruckte besser lesen..." usw. Absolut keine kundenfreundliche Bedienung!!!! Ich hatte noch nie dieses Bedürfnis mich derart schlecht mitzuteilen und andere zu warnen!!! Meidet den Laden!!!! Gruß E. read more

Muss ich leider mies bewerten. Nun schon das zweite Mal keinen Tisch bekommen, obwohl vorher reserviert wurde und sogar eine Bestätigungsmail vorhanden war. Nach dem Verhandlungsversuch, trotzdem einen Tisch zu bekommen, wird man dann noch auf die hinteren Plätze verwiesen mit den Worten:Ich geh erstmal die anderen Gäste bedienen. Ist mir schon klar dass man nicht auf jeden Gast angewiesen ist weil der Laden immer voll ist, trotzdem sollte doch schon ein gewisser Dienstleistungsgedanke da sein. Das war dort mal anders. Schade. Qualität der Cocktails konnte ich dann nicht mehr bewerten wir sind gegangen. read more

Ich besuche diese Bar schon seit ihren Anfängen und bin niemals enttäuscht worden. Das Personal ist sehr professionell und man kann sich auf einwandfreien Service freuen. Die Jungs sind super nett und bieten eine tolle Stimmung. Für mich die Adresse Nummer 1 in Hamburg. Ein Muß für jeden, der Spass sucht. Wenn ich aus Dortmund anreise, sind die langen Fahrtstunden in der Bar schnell vergessen und ich werde entschädigt. Habe wirklich schöne Erinnerungen an diese Bar. @Black Betty: Das Ambiente ist jawohl alles andere als billig und die Bedienung ist absolut professionell, ich kann nicht verstehen, was an denen auszusetzen ist! Ich persönlich bin fast jeden Tag dort und kann mich nur positiv über das Cocktrail äußern: -die Bedienung ist super! (ICH LIEBE EUCH!) -die Cocktails sind klasse gemacht! -das Ambiente ist einfach nur geil! ich liebe diese Cocktail Bar einfach, es ist ein klasse Ort, um nette Stunden mit Freunden bei einem [oder mehreren ;)] Cocktail(s) zu verbringen! read more

Super Cocktails, schmecken wie Sie gehören und nicht wie in billigen Kneipen nur pur nach Alkohol. Lage ist auch Spitze, direkt im Bahnhof (daher auch einige lustige Bahnhofs-Cocktails). Die Lage direkt gegenüber dem Einkaufszentrum und Kinos ist toll um danach nochmal einen guten Cocktail zu trinken. Bedienung ist freundlich und auch schlichte Fragen wie z.B. was ist den was hinter der Bar ist werden nett beantwortet. read more

also ich muss sagen das ich deinen komentar überhaupt nicht verstehe! mal abgesehen von den besten cocktails und dem kuscheligen ambiente, ist der service wirklich gut. vielleicht hattest du einfach nur einen schlechten tag. die jungs sind wirklich ok und gehen auf extrawünsche auch gerne ein. meine abende im cocktrail sind sehr spaßig und gemütlich gewesen...konnte mich nie beschweren. read more

War eine Weile meine näheste Cocktailbar. Ist jetzt nicht die schönste Location oder die gemütlichste Bar, da der kleine Raum meist sehr voll ist. Beim ersten Besuch fiel uns auf, dass fast alle anderen den gleichen Cocktail hatten. Den "Abstellgleis" mit Erdbeerpüree, jede Menge Rum und einer Flamme oben drauf. Der ist auch einfach gut, wir haben danach jedesmal Abstellgleis getrunken. read more

this place was announced to us to the be one of the top cockailbars in hamburg and we haven´t been disappointed. there is nothing to blame about this place. smokers do find an outdoor section the sit, drink and smoke. once you´ve tried this place you will never do the lousiana-restaurnt cocktails (mundsbug center) again. value for money !!! read more
