I contacted Cook Landscaping and hauling late in the evening and they showed up the next day! Antonio and his assistant came out when they said they would and got the job done! The office got defensive when confronted but we worked it out. I still disagreed and was shocked they sent a whole crew that did not speak any English. I told him we had been waiting 2 months for Lowes to get it together and we are looking around for quotes. He said he is booked 5-6 weeks out minimum and I said ok I still want to get a quote from you we are looking at quotes and we might even look into home depot. We are having to shop around a little because of the Lowes situation. He said I would get the same service at home depot I did with lowes and told me go ahead and get my other estimates then. I told him I still wanted to do the free estimate through him because we are not sure who we are going through right now and he said well he is 5-6 weeks out and could not get us in especially if we are not going to choose him. If you offer free estimates on your site- you should probably not refuse to give the free estimate just because you are unsure if it will be accepted. I am a POTENTIAL client. It does not look good that you will not even come out to give the service you say you offer on the website just because I am looking at a different store. If you would have done the estimate I would have been HAPPY to wait to get the door installed by a professional installer as I have already had to wait 2 months. Thanks for making sure I do not ever become your client.
