We had an intermittent and very frustrating HVAC problem, so we asked around to see who's got great service. (I hate looking for the cheapest person because usually you get what you pay for, so I ask about service first.) Lots of my friends told me they'd used Coburn Air Services, so we decided to give them a try. We were pleasantly surprised. Ernie came out and first worked on diagnosing the problem correctly. This was huge because we'd had two or three guys from other companies out in the past and none of them could figure out what was causing our problem. Once he'd figured it out, Ernie presented us with a couple of solutions. We agreed on one and he had the air back up and running that night. I'd highly recommend Coburn - they really know their stuff! read more

You can't go wrong with Coburn for 3 very important reasons. 1) They are experts and know what they are doing so there is NO messing around. Mike Link helped us install 2 mini splits and we were amazed at how efficient he was at getting the job done - right from the very beginning. 2) Customer service is above and beyond. He left his number for 24 hr service and when we had a little glitch due to our own fault, he was right out to fix it. 3) Their rates are reasonable and fair - as opposed to all the other companies I called for quotes they were upfront with a cost estimate and were almost $200 under what we expected. That's saying so much more than previous experiences with HVAC companies. We can't make a higher recommendation. read more

I called Mike Link on Friday night with an urgent request to jump-start my heater on Sat. He came out and tried for several hours and was unable to patch up an already patched up unit. He gave me suggestions and a bid for a new unit if I wanted one. His bid was much lower than others who were offering substandard products. He was polite, well dressed, and followed CV19 distancing. He is the most professional and REASONABLE HVAC person I have met with. 10******* read more

Established in 2017.

I have been in the HVAC service business since 1976 and have worked with several independent businesses and major manufacturers. I started my business in 2017 in order to bring my knowledge and integrity to my rural community. This has been very satisfying and rewarding.

Meet the Business Owner: Ernie Coburn C.

A little about myself. I started in the AC business in1976 as a sheet metal helper in Houston Texas for Mcillwain Bros. Air Conditioning, installing custom air systems for residential and commercial customers. And have worked my way up to a top rated service technician. I moved to Blanco Texas in 1994 and was accepted into the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 142 in 1995 where I have worked for several of the top companies in San Antonio including Carrier Commecial services and as a Service Superintendent For Trane Commercial Service for the last several years. At Mcillwain our slogan was modern technology and old fashioned integrity. That was ingrained in me at an early age and I have practiced that throughout my career and continue to do so in my own business today. Needless to say, I have a wealth of experience spanning four decades and want to bring that to my local rural comunity.

Ernie got our old 80's era AC unit running again when the other guys said they'd run out of options and it was time to replace the whole system. He also found a fix for our heating system when it iced over. I like how he talks out the problem. His work demonstrates his many years of experience and excellent understanding of these machines and systems. You can tell he cares about his customers. He's our guy for air from now on. read more

A live voice answered the phone, got us someone to come out during the week within 1hr. We live about 35min west of Austin in the hill country. Its mid June so we all know how hot central TX gets and how much we rely on ac to keep us safe during the summers. Ryan H was very professional, friendly, trustworthy and found the issue within the first 10min. Clogging hvac drain. He went into our attic, did his hvac magic.. got the system working again, told us how to maintain it and cleaned up as we worked. He was very respectful of our home. They have now been added to our must call group of house support in my cell phone. We are also happy to suggest them to any of our neighbors who need hvac services. Super fair prices, honest work, professional and just did an overall outstanding job.

Last summer we had an issue where build up in our AC drip line caused the safety switch to turn off…read morethe AC unit. Ed helped us out that day and I felt his price was incredibly reasonable. He was kind and walked me through this issues so I could take care of it if it ever happened again. Fast forward to today, same issue occurred. I thought I remembered how to do fix it, but called Ed for confirmation. Sure enough he called me right back, confirmed the process, and I was back up and running right away. I appreciate Ed helping me out over the phone instead of making up some reason to have to come out and charge me. I HIGHLY recommend Ed with AirWerks!
