I've been to: - 3 different hip PT ( physical therapists)…read more- 4 local "all around" PT - 5 different Pelvic Floor PT - 2 different needling PT I've had multiple surgeries and have often been called a "complicated case." I have to begrudgingly agree to this statement. I'm only in my 30s but have very bad luck when it comes to accidents and surgeries. I realize that each physical therapy office has specialized people, and everyone will have a different experience. So I'll talk about the physical therapist that I've seen here at Rebound. First, their receptionists are very kind and understanding. They understand how the insurance works, and I'm always able to get in touch with them. They have jumped through hoops for me. Kat is by far my favorite. She has actually contacted billing, and my insurance at the same time, and held a conference on my behalf. It takes away all of my stress just to have someone help me with the insurance. Jason Grissom, who I've been seeing after my hip replacement surgery, listens to what I have to say. I cannot emphasize enough how important this is. I have been brushed off by so many physical therapists I've lost count. He is very upfront with me, which I also appreciate. He has never said the following things to me: "It's a marathon, not a race", " everyone's pain is different", " I cannot give you an estimate of how long it will take to heal." These are some of the most infuriating answers I've had to deal with for years. It really makes me feel like a human to hear an actual answer from him. He will say things like "With my experience, an injury like this, should take 2 years to fully heal." Or " I've had one case that took one month to heal, and another case that took 8 months to heal." No BS. No stock answers. No run around. It's been a breath of fresh air just to get an honest answer. Sarah Awe, who is also been seeing me for my hip, my light laser, and shock therapy treatments is incredibly...kind. She also listens to what I have to say, and works very closely with Jason so that I do not have to play telephone game. Crissy Ott is currently doing my needling. Chrissy is a little rough around the edges. Her personality does not mesh well with mine. I often feel like....I've gone back in time and she is my high school teacher looking down on me for getting a B+ grade that could have been an A. But from a professional standpoint, she knows what she is doing. I feel confident and comfortable when she is treating me. I have nothing bad to say about Emily. I do prefer Emily over Chrissy, but that is just because of the personality difference. Amelia is the one who is currently treating my whiplash. She is so friendly and bubbly, it's hard to be sad when I am around her. She also talks to all of the other physical therapists for me, so I don't have to play telephone or repeat myself six times. Their whole office is very synchronized and their communication with each other, as well as with me, has always been great. I have never felt like I did not get my money's worth when I went in for a treatment. I've never felt rushed. Even when they are running behind schedule by 10 minutes, they still spend the full allotted amount of time with me. On days where I only see Jason, I'll notice that Amelia, Kat, or Sarah will stop what they are doing and greet me by name. I highly recommend Rebound physical therapy if you've had a hip surgery (or 3 in my case). They also offer light, laser, and shock therapy. They are incredibly affective. It is worth the money. Insurance will not cover these, because insurance is run by the devil. 50 dollars for a session is absolutely worth it.

Physical Therapy gurus at Rebound really helped Jeri with her ballance. Misspelling intended. Lol…read more The waiting room is clean and the appointments are almost punctual. Thank you Justus and crew!

I saw Morgan Cundiff on May 3rd. I was misgendered by the front desk staff immediately and I had to…read morecorrect them while they were taking notes as I was filing a complaint about the intake paperwork they make you do online, as you cannot give a complete, full medical history due to the fact that it has very limited answers and you can't write in your own; the fact I couldn't put down the medication I have a life threatening allergy to was especially alarming. I saw the medical assistant longer than I saw Cundiff and Cundiff didn't even bother to look at my throat or at my sinuses despite me saying my throat and sinuses hurt. This was a Friday and I was initially told that they'd call in a script for me, something I've taken before, because it should help the breathing trouble I was having. But, without notifying me, they changed that to an inhaler that my insurance didn't want to cover (and eventually 2 weeks later, they fully denied coverage of it). I had to call the on-call doctor, who was apparently in Arizona, to ask for what I was originally told they'd write a script for. I found out later that this on-call doctor, who I obviously was not examined by, "diagnosed" me with COPD. COPD has never been brought up by any doctor I've ever seen and, despite me telling Village Medical to remove this false diagnosis from my records, it's still there. The medication did not fix my breathing issues. The medical records they have show me taking that inhaler despite never even being able to pick it up. The level of communication with Cundiff, the clinic staff, and the regional management has been ridiculous. I would never recommend people going here. I picked Village Medical because they were supposed to be really queer and transgender friendly but they are not. The issues I had with being misgendered and the lack of compassionate care should really make anyone reconsider coming to any Village Medical center.

They are now Village Medical. The doctor I used to see left, and I was not informed. When I called…read moreto set up my yearly, I was told since my doctor left I was a new paitent and had to start all over. I was confused because they should have all my records. I asked did my doctor take my records with her? After many phoone calls it was worked out, but they insisted I was informed. I was not. I went for my yearly check up. The new doctor, who is very nice, asked me about how I was feeling. I told her I have seasonal alleries, but I had it taken care of. I told her what I was doing, and what I was taking. She said if I needed more help to reach out to her. That was it. They billed me $59.02 for that because seasonal allergies are not covered under the yearly check up. Now I know they go through everything word I say so they can code it and bill me, I will not go back. I was told if I don't like it, to take it up with my insurance company. This used to be a great practice. Since Village Medical took over it is horrible. I will never go back, and I will not recommend them to anyone.
