Maureen A. Zelinka at Coastal Primary Care 4995 S. Hwy 1 Fort Pierce Fl. 34982 772-465-3225 I have been going to CPC for many years and my nurse practitioner, Skipper, moved to Kentucky. At first, the new NP's seemed to be pretty good. Recently, I have been back to CPC 3 times for a UTI. The office was supposed to have sent a RX for an antibiotic to Walgreens. Went back 2 times to pick it up, and it was never sent. I called the doctor on call because the weekend was coming and I was really ill... I just wanted to get the medicine working ASAP. She seemed very upset that I was bothering her after hours. It's not my fault if the office staff didn't do their job. Then they referred me to specialists, whom I was told would call me to schedule an appointment... never happened. The NP told me to call and make an appointment with an Urologist, and when I did, I was told that my general practitioner has to do that! Run around, Run around Run around, and very bad attitudes from the staff, and the doctor seems to not care if you are ill or not! Don't ever go as a walk-in after 4:00PM, you will be treated with the worst disrespect. Sad, because it's always been my understanding when you are picking an occupation, you should know what you are signing up... and if you don't want to give your patients any time, then maybe you should rethink your profession options. read more

I wish I had seen the bad Yelp reviews before I had booked an appointment here. Dr. Zelinka is rude and wouldn't even listen as I tried to quickly give her a summary of my current medical issues that interconnect, and my medical history, medications etc. She cut me off within 2 minutes and said that I needed a psych review because I hadn't quit talking! I stated that was because I hadn't finished explaining the medical issues and other related issues. She is so offensive and controlling. I was stuck with their office as my primary care for a month until it could be changed the following month. Meanwhile when I called for an urgently needed referral to a cardiologist, they never got the fax # info for the cardiologist and they put me on hold for over 30 min; I finally hung up and called back; they didn't even say hello or please hold; they just slammed my call on hold again, never picked up the call or called me back; nor did they get me any of the other needed referrals that were discussed in the initial new patient appointment. Run away from this horrible office. read more

There is a clear reason this establishment has a 1 star. I have never been treated so badly over needing my life saving medicine. I will never return and never recommend. I am so disappointed that the Doctors don't understand this very elementary concept. and she even admitted to me that she was intentionally rude and unkind. read more

Went to this office three months ago because we needed a primary also because I was having severe pain in the back of my gave us a physical and MRI and x-ray and an osteoporosis test for I did the the osteoporosis I couldn't had me in for the MRI so I couldn't complete the MRI. I was in too much pain. I called the office and tell them I couldn't complete it. I also had an appointment with her went to my appointment. She was prescribed some pain pills for my head And a muscle relaxer the made me throw up when I called to tell them I couldn't take them. Nothing else was offered for so when I had my appointment, she sent me for a MRI where I could be seated she said she'll send in the referral and they'll call Well four days went by. I called the place. She sent me two twice and twice they told me they didn't have a so when I called the office to explain that the place didn't referral and it's four days later and I'm still waiting to make an appointment. I'm in severe pain. It seems to be getting worse. They tell me I already had the MRI done a few weeks ago and I tried to explain to them and I wasn't able to complete the test that the doctor ordered a different MRI for a different place so I could be seated And when I said that whoever I was speaking to you on the phone told me well. The MRI was already ordered a few weeks ago. I don't know what to tell you and hung up the phone. I was in a little bit of I and said I still need to get the appointment with the MRI place. I'm still in a lot of pain and I need to get this appointment so she apologized to me and said she was very sorry that happened to me and that she would have doctors link or reach out to me. I waited two weeks for to call me back two weeks still sitting in couldn't take the meds. She prescribed for me because they made me throw up and again nothing else was offered to me. So I finally the imaging center for a fifth time and they try to me they finally have my referral but they can't get me in for five weeks and I couldn't sit five weeks in plane. Also I was going back to New York for a few weeks so I called the office again and said they can't get me in for five weeks maybe can you give me a referral and when I go up to New York I'll have the test done there. Well that didn't happen all of a sudden about a week later. The imaging place called me up and told me they suddenly have a cancellation for the I never suggested a cancellation for the next day. I never made an appointment with the imaging place because it couldn't be fit into my schedule. I went back to my doctor and asked for a prescription. I have it done up north. So I went last Saturday to the imaging place had my sit down MRI again still sitting weeks later now in pain still seems to be getting worse. I called today to get my results now. I have a follow up appointment doctor in June so as I'm on the phone today to get my results, she says to me the nurse well if there's nothing wrong with Dr is not gonna reach out to you and I'm like well I've been waiting of my severe pain. I suggested to her a few weeks ago. I'd like to go to a chiropractor and she asked me if I would please wait until I get the results of this MRI so I really would like to speak to the doctor about it, she pulled up and she proceeded to tell me that the doctor recommended a neurologist to on March 4. Yes that's on my chart, but the doctor never said a word about it. She never spoke to me about it. nothing was ever recommended for me to go see a neurologist back on March 4. It's the end of April. I would've had the appointment made a long time ago. So I her that nothing was suggested to me about seeing this neurologist on March 4 and I did not really know about. She put me on hold and actually came back to the told me the doctor who you are forgot your case she's going to review it and call you back later. This was like 11 o'clock this morning. I sat all day waiting for call me back I go to a damn chiropractor. going to a chiropractor but how can a doctor have a practice like this to me? This is medical I'm in a lot of pain. She knows. I've been waiting for the test results so I can go to a is the one that suggested I not go to a chiropractor these test results come has left me here limbering in pain for weeks. I came to her for relief. I came to her for medical care and all I got were test ordered And neglect. I can't even get a phone call back from this woman. I am so disgusted and so pissed off that I have wasted 2 1/2 months of trying to get to the bottom of my pain and now I have to start all over again with a new primary who of course is gonna try and order test all over again thank God I have a of my MRI so I cut that right off, but I don't understandhow somebody and some nurses in this office are so unprofessional. I don't understand how this doctor can just let me sit here and limber and pain for so long. This is so unprofessional and MEDICAL NEGLECT read more

I would not even rate this establishment with 1 star but I have to. Most unprofessional, rudest doctor I've even encountered. My daughter was seen here for over a year and we had to leave twice after sitting in the waiting room for 2+hours. After our last appointment with Dr Zelinka we've switched doctors. read more

Dr. Zelinka is the rudest doctor I have ever encountered. She does not care about the well being of her patients and speaks to them with no respect, decency or empathy. The nurses are very nice and helpful but I hope they all get jobs with a better person that deserves to call themselves a doctor. read more

Don't use coastal primary care. They are a bunch of rude women who don't care about you. Too lazy to call and verify something. Took time off work for my appointment that they could have called me about to reschedule if needed. So now I'm still in pain with a hernia with no dr apt and have to start all over again. read more

So I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But honestly I work in the medical field. And I'm disappointed. They are not accommodating to the patients at all. I usually don't complain of make these reviews but I will not be returning and will not be recommending them. read more

This place deserves NO STARS in my opinion. I had a mammogram done. My very first one. They called to tell me I needed to get an MRI done. So I went and had that done on 11/18. They originally told me they hadn't gotten the results when I called and asked about them. The next morning I called the place that did the MRI and they advised me that the doctors office did in fact have the results. I called the doctors office and was told that the nurse that handles that was not in. To call back on a Monday. So I called them back and they said they didn't get give results out over the phone and I had to make an appt. They were so rude. So I told them I needed an appt. They put me back on the phone with the receptionist to make an appt and she said well you have an appt in January, would you like to come in sooner? I said "are you basically telling me everything is ok and I can wait until January?" She said "a nurse will call you if there's an issue". So I waited until yesterday (after thanksgiving week) and asked if I could come in and get my results. They said I couldn't pick them up without a nurse going over them with me. I called the place that did the MRI. They told me I could pickup my results. I went there and got a copy. Come to find out I have two masses that are "suspicious for neoplasm. Advise for biopsy". STILL NOTHING FROM THE DOCTOR!!! I'll never go back there again! They do not care about their patients. I've NEVER been so disappointed in a dr office like this one. I would NOT recommend them! read more

Save yourself. Don't go here. Dr. Z is a really nice lady. But her staff, not so much. My husband had an appt. for a physical at 3:00pm. He got there at 2:30. They took him into a room at 2:45 and took his blood pressure and temperature. They said put on the paper gown and wait... and wait he did. Nobody checked in on him and he just walked out at 4:00. I of course called the office to let them know he left and that the wait time was unacceptable. I told the receptionist that he was waiting for an hour and a half. the receptionist then called me back to tell me that he was there for a total of an hour and a half and not to exaggerate. my bad... he was waiting in a room in a paper gown with no updates from staff for and hour and 15 mins. I was told that there are 3 businesses run out the offices and physicals take a long time. king me feel, like we are unreasonable. No apology, just excuses from the staff. My husband and I have both been prescribed medicines in the past that had bad interactions with other medications we take. Time to move on. read more

My appointment was for 9 am, and was taken into an exam room 5 minutes later. By 10:30 I still hadn't seen the doctor. Neither had anyone come by to apologize or explain, or make any contact with me at all. I walked out without anyone speaking to me or calling to apologize. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence. They overbook and simply expect us to quietly accept it without complaint. I had blood work done prior to the visit, and no one went over that with me. On top of all that, they charged the insurance company for an office visit. Terrible, terrible, terrible! Did I mention they're terrible? read more

So I have been waiting for a month to see the PCP Maureen A. Zelinka at Coastal Primary Care 4995 S. Hwy 1 Fort Pierce Fl. 34982 772-465-3225 As soon as I went into the back with my husband I knew this was not going to be a great experience. One of the nurses came out of the patient rooms and said to the doctor "The patient can not afford both test you ordered. Which one is most important first? The doctor that was dressed like a prostitute...black thigh high heels with fat oozing out the top, short black shirt with a low v cut shirt and heavy black eyeliner like she was attending a AC/DC concert..... replied to the nurse in a loud stern voice "tell him he has to get both of them." Ummm the guy just said he didn't have any money! My appointment was at 3:30 pm and she sent the nurse practitioner in at 4:20 pm. I did not book the appointment with the nurse practitioner. I politely told her I will wait for the doctor to come in. The doctor flings open the door at 4:40 pm and starts YELLING.... get your blood pressure done now I AM THE DOCTOR!!!!!!! She never introduced herself, she was not kind to how I was feeling sick, no bedside manner, unprofessional and just RUDE. If I could give -5 stars I would. I did get back my money. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY. GO TO SOMEONE WHO IS KIND AND CONSIDERATE. Best advice try to do your homework on the business and read reviews. I did but I guess it doesn't always work. I hope someone will benefit from me taking the time to write my truth. This happened today 01/10/2018 read more
